Atlantic Tours & TravelOperator•Written June 2025Travelling with Atlantic Tours requires a certain level of activity and physical fitness to enjoy and take part in the tour. While the specific requirements for each tour vary, in general, you must be able to: Enter and exit the motorcoach on your own. Enter and exit tour boats on your own. Climb stairs with ease and at times without handrails. Walk up and down moderate to steep inclines. Walk on uneven surfaces. Walk distances of at least 1km at a reasonable pace. Walk and stand for up to 2 hours. Our Newfoundland tour does have a fair amount of walking included for the different sightseeing venues, such as L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, as well as Gros Morne National Park.

For most of the National Historic sites that you would visit, the longest walk could be outdoor walking around the grounds of the site for up to 2 hours at a time.

The single rate for our June 21st, 12-day West to East Tour would be $5754 + 15% HST (CAD). The rates vary depending on the date of departure, and whether it is a regular group, or a small-sized group departure. June 21st is one of our regular group departures, which maxes at 46 passengers. Our small group departures max at 26 passengers.

For August 2025 we have the following dates available: August 2 - August 13, 2025, August 9 - August 20, 2025 | Small Group Departure, August 16 - August 27, 2025, August 30 - September 10, 2025 | Small Group Departure. The single rate for our regular groups departures is $5754 + 15% tax = $6617.10. The single rate for our small group departures is $6804 + 15% = $7824.60. The airport transfer from Deer Lake to Corner Brook to start the tour would be: $78 + 15% tax =$89.70. The airport transfer from St Johns to the Airport at the end of the tour is $35 + 15% tax = $40.25. We do not have any deals with any of the airlines therefore we do not offer flights.

Asked on June 23rd, 2024Does porter fly to deer lake? I would like an idea of the price of a flight from Ottawa to deer lake on Aug. 10 and the cost from St. John's to Ottawa inauguration 21. I just really want to know if we have to make our own travel arrangements to NFLD.

Porter does have a flight to Deer Lake from Ottawa, with a layover taking place in Halifax between stops. As well as a return flight from St. Johns to Ottawa. Prices today at the moment, range from between $250-$500 each way depending on options of travel. We do not include flights within our package pricing, and flights are usually booked independently by travelers.
