Atlantic Tours & TravelOperator•Written May 2025This tour will have both a Tour Driver, as well as a Tour Director who will be with you for the duration of the tour. Breakfast is included daily, as well as various other meals, for a total of 25 included meals. On the itinerary it lists which meals are included each day. Travel distance varies each day depending on the sightseeing included each day, and where the tour is travelling to. One of the longer days would be the days around the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, as the Cabot Trail is a driving trail. It is approximately 298km this day. As well, driving from Baddeck to Fortress of Louisburg and back to Halifax on Day 12 would be a long day as well, approximately 450km. Our touring schedule is designed to ensure that either sightseeing stops, meal breaks or comfort stops are every 2-3 hours or so to ensure that the length of time on the bus each day isn't too long. Tips and gratuities are included for all included components of the tour. It would not be included for any additional meals, nor for the Tour Director or Tour Driver. Meal gratuity is recommended at around 20% of the meal. Industry standards for Tour Director/Tour Drivers is $8-$10 per day, for each of the Tour Director and Driver. As for travel insurance, rates vary depending on the cost of the tour, flights, age and requested coverage. TourRadar offers their own insurance, which you would need to contact a TourRadar agent to confirm a quote with. Atlantic Tours is located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are Canadian and locally owned and operated. Our Tour Directors are also locals and the experts of Atlantic Canada.

We will be opening our bookings for 2026 in the next few months. For our Atlantic Maritimes tour, there are 21 Meals including 2 lobster dinners included. This is breakfast every day, as well as a mixture of lunches and dinners. If you look through the itinerary, you can see which meals are included daily, and which would not be. This tour begins and ends in Halifax, Nova Scotia and travels the Maritimes provinces. It is a Canada-only tour.
