Asked on August 5th, 2025Is this correct? Sounds amazingly onerous & impossible to achieve. Also, bank & credit card information given like this makes identity theft too easy. We have never experience anything like this with any other country.

The application process can be lengthy, so we recommend allowing yourself plenty of time before your planned travel. We suggest applying for the E-Visa via the official portal. It's true that the Chilean visa process can be more rigorous than those of other countries, particularly when applying from outside your country of citizenship.
