Casablanca to Rabat
Your guide meets you at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca and drives you to Rabat, about 45 miles north. Once you arrive at your hotel, you'll get a guided tour of Morocco's capital, walking through historical sites and checking out the Souika market where you can see local traders and craftspeople at work. The drive takes a few hours, so you'll have the rest of the day to settle in and explore the market's energy.

Rabat to Meknes
This morning you'll travel through back roads to smaller villages and local day markets where tourists are rare. Stop in Nkhila and then walk through the ancient Roman city of Volubilis before heading up to the citadel of Moulay Idris on Mount Zerhoun. Grab lunch at a village square with authentic Moroccan food, then continue to Meknes. Your guide shows you around the 17th-century Imperial city, including H'dim Square and the afternoon auction market where traders are selling everything.

Fez to Marrakech
Head through the Atlas Mountains toward Berber villages, starting at Azrou, an important market hub for regional Berber tribes. You'll arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon, giving you time to check into your hotel and rest.
