The whitewashed medina comes first, followed by the Dar el Makhzen palace museum to see royal artifacts and learn about the region's past. After that, you'll check out the American Legation Museum, which offers an interesting perspective on Morocco's diplomatic history. Later in the afternoon, head to the Hercules Caves perched above the Strait of Gibraltar for views across to Spain. The setting among olive groves makes it a worthwhile stop before heading to Meknes. Once there, you'll see the Bab Mansour gate with its impressive arches and intricate mosaic work, then explore other imperial structures showing the city's former importance. Wander through the pottery village to see artisans at work, then make your way to Nejjarine square and check out the king's residence. The route continues across agricultural land near Midelt, then through Errachida into the Ziz Valley, which winds through dramatic rocky passages. By late afternoon, you're in Erfoud and then heading into the Merzouga desert. Later, as the sun gets lower, you'll ride camels out into the dunes to reach the desert camp. The program, accommodation, food and the guide (Idir) all met our expectations perfectly. Idir was also a very good driver. We really enjoyed these 3 days! Best regards, Robert, Hermine and family.

We have a private tour four people for six days. It was amazing. The quality of the accommodation was superb, our guide Anouar was knowledgeable, flexible, good to have a laugh with (let’s face it - you are in a car together for many hours six days straight). Whilst we mainly stuck to the agenda, it was great we could change things to suit our travel mood. Always felt safe, learning so much - seeing great places
