What people love about Morocco Tours from Tangier
- 6 Days Best of Morocco
I'll start by saying the tour, and in particular, the tour guide, Ali, was exceptional. Company: I did a lot of research of competing tours and companies, and I landed on Morocco Joy Travel, because of the reviews. The tour company and guide were incredible. They were responsive to our queries, willing to accomodate different start/end times and changes to our itinerary, and even wrote and checked in with us prior to arriving. Guide: Ali, the owner and our guide, was exceptional. Ali is the most attentive tour guide I've ever had the pleasure of touring with (and I've travelled a lot). He was respectful, engaging, and thoughtful. Not to mention, an adept driver where no space was too tight! He was benevolent and kind to the locals and the children, and he always looked out for our interest. Transport: In terms of our experience on the tour, there were only two of us (me and my fiancé). So, it was effectively a private tour. We crossed many people on the way, who clearly chose bigger tour groups going to similar places, but evidently travelling less comfortably. We were fortunate to have travelled in a large A/C minivan, all to ourselves. (Not to be underestimated when noting how much driving is involved from travelling from place to place.) The music was a mix of thematic traditional Berber, Arabic, English, French and Spanish music, which was great. If you had any playlist/song requests, Ali surely could accommodate. Accommodation: the acommodation was spectacular. The 'riad' and 'dar' we stayed at were phenomenal, comfortable, and had all the modern necessities you would want. We even got a free upgrade thanks to Ali's connections! You won't be disappointed with the choices. Food: you'll get your share of traditional Morroccan food and more! Ali ensured we weren't repeatedly eating the same foods, so we got to try something different every day. We didn't have any dietary requirements, but I'm sure the guide would have no issues accommodating. Definitely try the local lamb cutlets in 'Zaida' if you get the chance! Transfer: Ali arrived nice and early to pick us up at Tangier airport. When we finished our tour, we had a couple of days in Marrakech. Despite this, Ali was kind enough to organise our transit to the airport, so it was all stress free. Overall: 11/10 would recommend! If you're deliberating between a number of companies, I would highly encourage you to choose Morocco Joy Travel. If you want to see Morocco and don't have much time, this tour would be perfect.
- Totally Morocco Tour from Tangier
If we were visiting Morocco again we would not visit Casablanca or Rabat again. We preferred the cultural experience of Marrakesh,, Fez ,and the Blue city and the Sahara Our driver Faoud was excellent,
- Northern Morocco (from Tangier) - 6 Days
I still can't get over what an incredible experience this was. We had a full-on tour, traveling for 6 days to tens of cities, big and small. Every chance he got, our guide Amanar waxed poetic about the beauty of his country, the history it holds, and the culture that thrives there. We had such an enriching experience not only sightseeing but also eating amazing food, meeting locals, shopping, and indulging in activities. From the moment we departed the boat, nothing was an issue! The van was clean and comfortable .fro the begining we feel that we put ourselves into a very safe hands and were not disappointed. We got to see all the sites, plus more, than we expected, and time was not an issue, Amanar just wanted to ensure we were happy. At the end of the tour, we were absolutely spent, but so blissfully happy. I'll never forget this experience. Thank you Cultural tours and Amanar , definitely we will come back for a nother tour. Highly recommended
