Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Bahariya Oasis
You'll start early with a drive from Cairo heading out to Bahariya Oasis, and the journey takes a few hours through the desert landscape. Once you arrive, grab lunch before heading out to see the date palm groves and Salty Lake. The afternoon includes stopping at the mountains for views across the area, then you'll move to the Black Desert where the camp gets set up. Dinner happens under the stars with traditional food, so you'll spend the evening getting settled in and adjusting to the desert atmosphere.

- Day 2
Black Desert to White Desert
After breakfast in camp, you'll head deeper into the Black Desert to visit El-Marssos Mountain and check out the natural spring at El-Hez village for some water and a break. The morning continues with exploring Crystal Mountain and the Agabat area where the rock formations are pretty unusual. By midday you'll have lunch near the ancient Roman Green Spring, and then it's time to see the White Desert with its white limestone shapes that look otherworldly. You'll transfer to the lodge by evening and settle in there.

White Desert to Cairo
You'll start with breakfast at the lodge at a relaxed pace before getting ready for heading back. After freshening up with a shower, the drive back to Cairo begins in the morning, and you'll spend several hours on the road returning to the city. The trip wraps up once you arrive back in Cairo, giving you time to reflect on the desert experiences from both the camp and lodge stays.
