What people love about Morocco Tours in July
- 6 Days Best of Morocco
If you’re thinking about visiting Morocco, do yourself a favor and book with Morocco Joy! My sibling and I just got back from a 7 day tour from Chefchouen to Marrakech with Said and Hamid and it was absolutely incredible. It ended up just being the two of us on our tour and we had the best time with these guys. We don’t know what we will do the next few days on our own in Marrakesh without Hamid to drive us and manage our luggage and crack his jokes, or Said to explain local customs and culture and answer all our questions. He is so kind and professional and knows everything it seems about his beautiful country. We were so lucky to get to spend the last week with them. We had originally booked a large group tour with one of those large tour companies, but I’m so glad we found Morocco Joy and booked with them instead. Everyone goes the same route to pretty much the same places, but having a small group makes the experience so much more personal and flexible. Before heading to Fes we decided we wanted to go hiking up the river nearby to Chefchouen to God’s Bridge, instead of visiting Volubilis, which was no problem. We also added an extra hike in the Dades Valley through the Monkey Fingers canyon before heading to Marrakech. Which we couldn’t have done in a large group. Our favorite day was the day we added to the 6 day tour so we could spend a full day in the desert. Do this if you can! We rode on a jeep through the dunes to visit a local nomad village, and other local villages. And got to spend another sunset in the Erg Chebbi dunes soaking up the magic of the desert. Another highlight was all the really cool places we stayed. We are so glad we upgraded to the luxury camp in the desert because it was so luxurious and amazing! And had the most comfortable beds of the whole trip. I kept expecting to be let down by the next place we stayed but they just kept getting better and better! Each with their own unique thing that made them special. Morocco itself is amazing but the thing that made our trip spectacular was touring the country with Hamid and Said and Morocco Joy Travel. I also can’t believe the value the tour provided for the price. They took care of everything for us and we felt like VIP customers traveling on an economy budget. It was an experience of a lifetime and we are so grateful to everyone at Morocco Joy for making it happen!
- Morocco 7 Days Tour From Casablanca
We had a wonderful time on this seven day tour through Morocco. We travelled as a family; two parents and two young children. Just keep in mind that there is a lot of driving involved, and because of that you’ll only get a preview of all that Morocco has to offer. Now we know where to spend more time when we come back. Our driver, Hassan, was caring and professional, and made many accommodations to keep the kids happy. If we saw something we liked during the drives, he did not hesitate to stop for us to explore, and we didn’t mind skipping something on the itinerary if needed. By the end of the trip Hassan was also our family. The Riads offered a unique experience at each destination, and the hosts were always hospitable to their guests. At one of the Riads the entire bath faucet broke, and they found a plumber at midnight who repaired the problem immediately. It was impressive. We were chatting with a host for a while while he played with our kids, and we were taking about some unique Moroccan foods, and the next day for breakfast he had a spread ready with some of those foods for us to enjoy. It was a pleasant surprise. If you decide to go shopping in the main marketplaces, be sure to carry cash, because many stalls and street vendors do not accept credit. You won’t have that issue at most sit-down restaurants and larger storefronts. I would certainly recommend this trip to anyone looking explore Morocco with a limited amount of time.
