The tour encompassed a satisfying diversity of locations and experiences. The two long drives were helped by the several stops along the way to enjoy interesting sights. Mohamed the driver was very professional, always driving carefully, and with planning to make sure that we did not need to hurry. The local guides in Chefchauoun and Fes were both knowledgeable and friendly. At Erg Chebbi, the sand dunes were spectacular and it was a place to respect the tranquility of nature. A strong recommendation is to have better control of the situation in the desert camp, to avoid the traditional music being followed by disco music played by a minority at maximum volume until 2 am when a complaint had to be made. It is disquieting that a few of the male staff were implicated in this situation, which also involved alcohol and young female tourists.
