Martin· October 7th, 2025The tour of Morocco is intense. However, prior to booking, we were informed this would occur. Hence, I have no complaints about that issue. Overall, I enjoyed the experience which was well organised and provided some insight into Moroccan culture. This was primarily due to our excellent "CEO" Hassan who was informative, relaxed, and friendly. I would also like to mention our driver who did a terrific job in keeping us safe and on schedule.Show more
G Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your review with us, Martin! Morocco is such a special country and we are so glad to know that Hassan helped make the trip memorable. Our world deserves more you!Trip date: September 2025
Marie-Livie· June 20th, 2025I had a very good experience on the « highlights of Morocco» tour. The tour guide, Abdellah, was very interesting, we learned a lot about the country and the culture. He always made sure that everyone was ok at all time. I really recomend both the tour and the guide. All hotels were well located. The tour is a good highlight of the country as we were able to see distinct side of it as the landscape changed from city to mountain to desert. This has been for sure one of my best trips. I also learned a lot thank to our excellent guide Abdellah. Also thank you to our driver who was always on time and drove us safely accross Morocco.Show more

G Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your review with us, Wayne! Our world deserves more you!Trip date: May 2024- JNJune· March 26th, 2025I didn't receive enough information regarding how much money would be required to take with me. It wa always an issue to find an ATM throughout the trip. I did see and enjoy many aspects of the tour seeing lots of places and having good experiences. Having a really good guide makes the experience however our guide was not the best one that I have ever had on any tour. He is a very nice man and tried very hard to meet the needs of the group but his lack of communication skills limited his sharing of information.Show more
G Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your review, June. We regret the shortcomings of this trip and have passed your feedback on to the appropriate teams for their review.Trip date: March 2025 - CSCsilla· March 10th, 2025Amazing 15 day of "Highlights of Morocco' Tour, and it certainly showed that from start to finish. Our guide Mohamed (Moh) shared his knowledge on Moroccan history/culture, been professional and assuring our trip to have the best experience. The friendly local guides also been informative especially in Fes. It was enjoyable to see all the places this tour had to offer from bustling cities - visiting Medinas, and they varied each places eg. Tangier; to quite place in The Atlas Mountains; the uniqueness of Chefchaouen, short hike for a 360 view and delicious three course Moroccan cuisine hosted by a local; the Sand Dunes Merzouga, camel ride and amazing sunset and sunrise, visiting nomad, listening to the local band by campfire, fortress setting accomodation; and relax and splash at Essaouria beach, and fresh seafood platers for lunch or dinner; and many more moments and places I could list on this tour and sampling flavoursome Moroccan cuisines. To mention, the group on this tour got on so well, shared a few laughs, showed off our dancing moves, enjoyed dinning out and lunches, the activities we participated the hikes the horse riding the fwd, it has been enjoyable experience, and we did mention we will stay in contact. There was also free time for me-time. Thank you for a great tour and taste of Morocco!Show more

We hope to welcome you on another adventure in the near future!Trip date: February 2025 - Ss· January 9th, 2025i'd say 90-95% of the country you see in these 2 weeks. i liked it very much. the people were kind. all this 'customer harassing' didnt happen and i didnt even see it. Good country- good people. But the bus had too small seats and some of the hotels were not so good.Show more

G Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for your review, Mostafa! We are delighted to know that you enjoyed your time in Morocco with Saied. The world deserves more you!Trip date: December 2024- TNThanh Huong· January 5th, 2025Overall experience was good. Morocco is a beautiful country. Temperature was an issue in the bus from day 1, the heat did not work and it was cold until the sun came out at noon to heat the bus up. The 4x4 was an SUV and we didn’t go over any dunes. The gite should have been skipped during cold season because there was no heat in the rooms except for 1 gas flume patio heater which they used indoor and it had to be turned off when we were sleeping. It was so cold, none of us got out of our clothes to sleep. All the factories and the G adventures communities that were we taken to sold items that were more expensive than other places yet they were the same quality. Hotels could have been better, but for the price of the tour, I guess we can’t expect much. At some hotels, the staff was combative when asking for extra towels and 2nd room key when there are 2 people staying in the room. At some of the hotels, the breakfast was lacking. Soap was an issue. Some people didn’t have heat in a few places. The driver was always on time, we never had to wait for him. He was polite and always had a smile. The CEO was fine. I felt she could have given more information of places as we pass along the way during the drive. When asked, she would provide us the information. A few times, she said she was going to do something but it was never done. She got us to places on time, though dinners were scheduled too late especially when we have been up since 6am each day. Lunches were scheduled late during 2nd half of the trip, sometimes 8 hours since we had eaten last during breakfast. Prior to the trip, we had asked for estimated time of arrival at each stop and activities during free time. G Adventure would not tell us so we planned some of our own events during the free time. I do not know if the guide expected us to do things together as a group the entire time, I don’t think she was happy when we didn’t join the group. Some of the local guides talked too much about themselves and making us standing there listening to the stories instead of seeing the sites or talking about the sites. In spite of all the complaints, overall everything went smoothly without any major issues and we got to see what was stated in the brochure.Show more

Asked on September 5th, 2025I'm looking to book the highlights of Morocco tour from Nov 3rd to 17th. I'm wondering if its possible to get an extended checkout time at the hotel and book a taxi to the airport. Since I'm travelling solo want to confirm if this is a possibility before I make any decision. Also, can you please confirm if airport transfer is included in Casablanca?
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025We can book an additional night for you at the ending hotel in Marrakesh for 60.00 CAD (single room), and a departure transfer to the airport for 55.00 CAD. Arrival transfer in Casablanca is not included, but it can be booked for day 1 for 70.00 CAD.

Asked on August 18th, 2025Can I have a single room or do I need to share? What is the price for a single room? Is it possible to stay longer in Essaouira?
G AdventuresOperator•Written August 2025We have one remaining My Own Room spot available for an additional €389. With My Own Room, you'll get your own single accommodation for most nights, except Night 10 in a simple mountain gite. Without My Own Room, you'll be paired with another same-sex solo traveller. Asked on August 14th, 2025I'm disabled and find it difficult to walk far. Would this trip be suitable for me. I don't use a walking stick, but some sort of stick may be of help.
G AdventuresOperator•Written August 2025There is definitely a lot of walking on our Morocco trips, and the ground is often uneven due to poor infrastructure, and whilst there are breaks in between, you may find this itinerary challenging for you. You may like to have a look at our National Geographic Journey, which may be more suitable, with less walking.

Asked on July 8th, 2025Are transfers from Airport included? Can we book night prior to tour with you at the same hotel?
G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025Airport transfers are not included in the cost of the tour, however we can add these on to your booking for an additional cost once we have your flight information. We can also book pre and post nights for you at the same hotel the tour starts and finished at.

Traveler•Written June 2025Could you please tell me the recommended tipping per day per person or total for the trip per person. Also, are there transfers included in the cost of the tour from the airport in Casablanca to our hotel.
G AdventuresOperator•Written June 2025A shared arrival transfer from Casablanca airport would be $40 AUD per person. From our tour Details webpage, we recommend the following as a guide for tipping: Tipping is a way of life in Morocco. Locals themselves will usually tip anyone who provides them with services. On Day 1 of your tour, your CEO will be able to advise on the amount required from everybody to form the tipping kitty for your trip. At the end of your trip if you felt that your G Adventures CEO did an outstanding job, tipping is also expected and appreciated. The precise amount is entirely a personal preference, however $8-11 USD per person per day can be used as a general guideline.
