- JNJune· March 26th, 2025I didn't receive enough information regarding how much money would be required to take with me. It wa always an issue to find an ATM throughout the trip. I did see and enjoy many aspects of the tour seeing lots of places and having good experiences. Having a really good guide makes the experience however our guide was not the best one that I have ever had on any tour. He is a very nice man and tried very hard to meet the needs of the group but his lack of communication skills limited his sharing of information.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your review, June. - CSCsilla· March 10th, 2025Amazing 15 day of "Highlights of Morocco' Tour, and it certainly showed that from start to finish. Our guide Mohamed (Moh) shared his knowledge on Moroccan history/culture, been professional and assuring our trip to have the best experience. The friendly local guides also been informative especially in Fes. It was enjoyable to see all the places this tour had to offer from bustling cities - visiting Medinas, and they varied each places eg. Tangier; to quite place in The Atlas Mountains; the uniqueness of Chefchaouen, short hike for a 360 view and delicious three course Moroccan cuisine hosted by a local; the Sand Dunes Merzouga, camel ride and amazing sunset and sunrise, visiting nomad, listening to the local band by campfire, fortress setting accomodation; and relax and splash at Essaouria beach, and fresh seafood platers for lunch or dinner; and many more moments and places I could list on this tour and sampling flavoursome Moroccan cuisines. To mention, the group on this tour got on so well, shared a few laughs, showed off our dancing moves, enjoyed dinning out and lunches, the activities we participated the hikes the horse riding the fwd, it has been enjoyable experience, and we did mention we will stay in contact. There was also free time for me-time. Thank you for a great tour and taste of Morocco!Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your experience with us, Csilla! - Ss· January 9th, 2025i'd say 90-95% of the country you see in these 2 weeks. i liked it very much. the people were kind. all this 'customer harassing' didnt happen and i didnt even see it. Good country- good people. But the bus had too small seats and some of the hotels were not so good.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your honest review! Morocco is a very special destination and we are glad you enjoyed yourself. We will pass your concerns relating to the hotels and bus to the appropriate team for their review.Trip date: December 2024

- TNThanh Huong· January 5th, 2025Overall experience was good. Morocco is a beautiful country. Temperature was an issue in the bus from day 1, the heat did not work and it was cold until the sun came out at noon to heat the bus up. The 4x4 was an SUV and we didn’t go over any dunes. The gite should have been skipped during cold season because there was no heat in the rooms except for 1 gas flume patio heater which they used indoor and it had to be turned off when we were sleeping. It was so cold, none of us got out of our clothes to sleep. All the factories and the G adventures communities that were we taken to sold items that were more expensive than other places yet they were the same quality. Hotels could have been better, but for the price of the tour, I guess we can’t expect much. At some hotels, the staff was combative when asking for extra towels and 2nd room key when there are 2 people staying in the room. At some of the hotels, the breakfast was lacking. Soap was an issue. Some people didn’t have heat in a few places. The driver was always on time, we never had to wait for him. He was polite and always had a smile. The CEO was fine. I felt she could have given more information of places as we pass along the way during the drive. When asked, she would provide us the information. A few times, she said she was going to do something but it was never done. She got us to places on time, though dinners were scheduled too late especially when we have been up since 6am each day. Lunches were scheduled late during 2nd half of the trip, sometimes 8 hours since we had eaten last during breakfast. Prior to the trip, we had asked for estimated time of arrival at each stop and activities during free time. G Adventure would not tell us so we planned some of our own events during the free time. I do not know if the guide expected us to do things together as a group the entire time, I don’t think she was happy when we didn’t join the group. Some of the local guides talked too much about themselves and making us standing there listening to the stories instead of seeing the sites or talking about the sites. In spite of all the complaints, overall everything went smoothly without any major issues and we got to see what was stated in the brochure.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your honest feedback, Thanh. We will pass your concerns on to the appropriate teams for their review.Trip date: December 2024

Asked on March 27th, 2025We are a special group of friends from all over Australia who would like to meet in Morocco and travel together. Is this something you could organise.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written March 2025
This is something we can definitely arrange for you. Where were you looking to begin and end the tour in Morrocco? What would be your per person budget? You were looking for a private tour correct?

Asked on March 6th, 2025We would like clarifications on some points. Please confirm that all the hotels have attached toilets except for the Gite accommodation at Auberge Tafraout Armed. The accommodation at Armed is shared with 6 beds & shared toilets, we are happy to share if other travelers can tolerate our snoring & switching on lights at night to use the toilets. Don't want to spoil fellow travelers experience. Otherwise what is the option available? The trek up from Imlil to Armed -Though we are health wise in good shape but steep climbs can take longer for us than the others, so hopefully we will not be in anyway stalling others. Also we may like to back out if we find it not doable. Then what is the option available? What happens to our luggage?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written March 2025
The accommodation for the tour is hotels (13 nts), mountain gîte (1 nt, multi-share). This means that you will have your own room and bathroom for 13 nights on the trip (and the exception of the mountain gite). The hike is about 1 hour long. While the hike to the gîte is uphill, it is achievable by anyone of average fitness. Take it at a slow pace! (your luggage will be in a support vehicle). Should you opt out of the hike, we can arrange private vehicle transportation to the mountains for you.

Asked on March 2nd, 2025your itenry states that the Age group is up to 90 years of age, but your mode of transport states that walking and camel is part of the transport mode, how difficult and distance that they would walk.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written March 2025
Walking is required between the transportation and hotel rooms, as well as during activities. The activity level for this tour is 2 - Light - Light walking and hiking suitable for most fitness levels. Nothing too challenging. Of course, it is up to each traveler to make sure they are able to walk between the destinations especially since some of the terrain can be a bit uneven. As for the camel, it is optional and anyone who isn't comfortable to participate in the camel ride, regardless of their age, can opt out.

Asked on February 15th, 2025We are senior couple from New Zealand and would like to confirm that all accommodations are decent, clean with attached toilets even in the desert camp as not possible to pop in and out of tents in the middle of the nights.
- G AdventuresOperator•Written February 2025
On this trip you can expect to stay in local hotels or pensions (with the exception of the start and finish hotels, which are often larger city hotels), which will vary a little in standard and facilities: some may not have elevators, air-conditioning or English-speaking staff, but most importantly all are locally-run, with some traditional character, and in excellent central locations to give you maximum time for exploring the sights. While in the mountains our accommodation will be basic refuge-style multi-share with shared unisex facilities. In Merzouga we will stay in a traditional desert auberge (guesthouse).

Traveler•Written January 2025If I put deposit on one tour and my friends decide later to join us for a shorter tour will I be able to transfer my deposit from 19 days to 8 days tour?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written January 2025

You can cancel up to 30 days before your original travel date and use your deposit on another G Adventures trip. Once you are within 30 days of the tour start date, cancellation fees will apply for any changes or cancellations.
