What people love about Greece Tours in November
- Vacations in Greece - 9 Days - Athens, Paros, Naxos, Santorini
We had an excellent experience with the team of people that helped us enjoyed our vacation in Greece, excellent service. Everything exceeded our expectations, it was 100% a positive experience. I am planning right now my next vacation to Spain with them. Thanks for everything.
- Greece Discovery Tour
Just got back from a tour organized by Effie, guided by Eleni with Taki as our main driver and everything was stupendous. Way more than we were expecting for the money we had no regrets and would definitely do it again. The good: Eleni was an awesome guide who kept everything moving without feeling rushed and got us through all the big highlights in and around Athens. She had a background in classical archaeology and even did some field work in school so her knowledge of ruins and excavations was amazing. Our transportation was a very comfortable and cool Mercedes touring van driven by Taki who was an incredible driver capable of maneuvering that thing flawlessly through narrow winding streets. The first half of the tour was very busy with several stops per day and the last part of the trip becomes more relaxed with time on the islands and consecutive nights in hotels. Logistics were slick everything was always on time on point and Effie was constantly available to trouble shoot any problems. We decided to alter the tour to include a few more days on one of the islands rather than in Athens as listed on the standard itinerary and Effie was able to quote us and work that into our itinerary while we were on the road very great service. The bad: A couple of the included meals at the hotels were very lackluster buffet meals, but one of them (at Olympia) was also one of the best meals and times we had on the tour and it was never inedible food just uninspired. On Santorini, we had to purchase a day tour separately to see all the sites and then do the sunset on the cliffs. It wasn't particularly expensive but we got lucky and were able to split it with our tour companions. It would have been nice if that were included since Santorini isn't super easy to get around without a car and Taxis are very expensive there. The ugly: Nothing really. If you want to see all the high points of Greece at a reasonably price in pretty swanky accommodations and with the peace of mind of a solid organization handling the details look no further.
- Best Experience of Greece - 10 Days
Transportatiion to and from places was fabulous. Lodging Great. The 4 Day Central Greece part felt patchworked together. Alot of time wasted dropping of and picking up people from different tours joing ours. Tour Guide was not clear on her directions. Could be because she was switching back and forth from English to French as our tour was mixed. Makes me wonder what we would have heard if she hadn't had to speak to 2 different groups.
