What people love about Greece Tours in November
- Charming Greece Tour - 7 days
Well organized, Tour guide was very helpful. We were well informed, Guide gave us sufficient information on the places, its history, We had breaks during long journey. Rooms were in prime location.
- Absolutely Greek
Great tour! We were met at the airport and taken to a very nice hotel. The local partner ensured that we had information for our organized tours. We particularly enjoyed the half-day tour of the Acropolis and the four-day tour of the ancient Greece sites. Wonderful guides. Very enjoyable trip.
- Greece Discovery Tour
Tour guide was good and the diver was excellent but some of the hotels were not that great.

Greece in November offers comfortable autumn conditions. Athens maintains daytime temperatures between 15-20°C (59-68°F). The northern regions including Meteora and Kalambaka see cooler temperatures ranging from 10-15°C (50-59°F). Visitors to key archaeological sites should pack a light raincoat as November brings occasional showers mixed with clear skies. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "The November weather was perfect for sightseeing - not too hot like summer but still pleasant enough to enjoy outdoor activities."
What are the main historical sites to visit in Greece during November?
November presents an opportune time to explore Greece's archaeological treasures without peak-season crowds. The Acropolis stands as Athens' centerpiece while the ancient theater of Epidaurus demonstrates classical engineering with its acoustic perfection. Delphi's Oracle site and Ancient Olympia offer rich historical connections. The Meteora monasteries set against autumn foliage create distinct photo opportunities. A TourRadar traveler shared: "Visiting Meteora in November was magical - the fall colors against the dramatic rock formations and monasteries were stunning and we practically had the sites to ourselves."
Where are the best places to stay in Greece during November?
November accommodations span convenient city hotels to scenic mountain properties. The Electra Hotel puts visitors steps from Athens' main attractions while the Grand Meteora Hotel provides front-row views of the famous monasteries. What is the price range for traveling to Greece in November compared to peak season?
November rates drop 30-40% below summer prices across accommodations and tours. Four-star Athens properties like the President Hotel and Athens Avenue offer rooms from 89 USD nightly versus 150 USD in peak season. A TourRadar traveler noted: "We got excellent rates at premium hotels and avoided the crazy summer crowds." Complete tour packages range from 1655 USD for 5-day mainland experiences to 3729 USD for 12-day island-spanning adventures.
Which Greek islands are best to visit in November?
Santorini and Crete maintain visitor appeal through November despite reduced services. Year-round hotels like the Aegean Plaza and El Greco Resort in Santorini continue operations.
