Overall you will learn about the ancient Geek history. The tour guide was really knowledgeable. You get a crash course in Greek history if you haven’t done your research. Just bear in mind that you will spend more time on the bus travelling from one place to the other because the places you visit are not close to each other. The bus driver was by the way outstanding.

The organization in what appeared to be Greek Chaos was excellent. There was ample time to spend at each site to really explore. An amazing number of sites were covered in 4 days in the Greek Classic component and the Athens tours were well covered. Go- Tours was the local operator for Eskapos

The guides were terrific and the hotels were very good. I wish we had some time in Delphi though. We had none in the quaint town on the mountainside. I also think we should have been told before we left that we had to pay for all the entrance fees, which for the two of us was 178 euros, in cash, not by credit card as soon as we arrived. I think the tour should have put that charge plus the hotel fees of 3 euros a stay on the cost of the trip. Also once we reached Athens at the end of our trip, there were close to 20 stops to drop people off at their hotels. It took an hour in the city after an 800 kilometer drive to get to our hotel. Not too well planned.
