What people love about Greece Tours in October
- Best of Greece | 11 Days
This is an amazing tour of Greece taking in the culture of an ancient culture. We have met very lovely and warm people. The local tour guides and an a lot of facts acquired from artefacts and remains. The touring days are filled with stunning sights. You will eat a lot of delicous stuff derived from greek cuisine. You also get free time to explore around the destination spots. A little warning, Lots of walking and climbing stairs. Those who have hip, ankle and knee injuries will struggle. I dont think you can find many more tours that has this much of a good value. Fully recommend it.

The people and transfer arrangements were great. One drawback was the hotel in Athens was not near the central tourist area and was noisy due to being on a major highway and next to a loud nightclub. Loved especially the hotel and trip arranged in Santorini.
- Greece Discovery Tour
Just got back from a tour organized by Effie, guided by Eleni with Taki as our main driver and everything was stupendous. Way more than we were expecting for the money we had no regrets and would definitely do it again. The good: Eleni was an awesome guide who kept everything moving without feeling rushed and got us through all the big highlights in and around Athens. She had a background in classical archaeology and even did some field work in school so her knowledge of ruins and excavations was amazing. Our transportation was a very comfortable and cool Mercedes touring van driven by Taki who was an incredible driver capable of maneuvering that thing flawlessly through narrow winding streets. The first half of the tour was very busy with several stops per day and the last part of the trip becomes more relaxed with time on the islands and consecutive nights in hotels. Logistics were slick everything was always on time on point and Effie was constantly available to trouble shoot any problems. We decided to alter the tour to include a few more days on one of the islands rather than in Athens as listed on the standard itinerary and Effie was able to quote us and work that into our itinerary while we were on the road very great service. The bad: A couple of the included meals at the hotels were very lackluster buffet meals, but one of them (at Olympia) was also one of the best meals and times we had on the tour and it was never inedible food just uninspired. On Santorini, we had to purchase a day tour separately to see all the sites and then do the sunset on the cliffs. It wasn't particularly expensive but we got lucky and were able to split it with our tour companions. It would have been nice if that were included since Santorini isn't super easy to get around without a car and Taxis are very expensive there. The ugly: Nothing really. If you want to see all the high points of Greece at a reasonably price in pretty swanky accommodations and with the peace of mind of a solid organization handling the details look no further.
