She was very knowledgeable - that was not the issue. The bus breaking down was not a problem either. However, I am disabled and have mobility issues (specifically, as of late I'm still recovering from right knee surgery). I took all the measures I could before traveling to Greece. I packed necessary pain medication, ice packs, took and used my cane daily during the tour and even got a steroid shot 10 days before travel to mitigate any issues. But the tour guide had an issue with me sitting in the front seat (behind the driver) during the week-long tour -- which in my experience is designated for people with disabilities anyway. I live in the United States, have a disabled placard and documentation with me should she had requested to see sit after I explained sitting there allowed me to travel more comfortably and rest/stretch my leg in between stops. Moreover, I sat there for several reasons: 1) My siblings and I were the last to be dropped off at hotels and therefore, the first to be picked up in the morning; 2) Sitting there allowed me to stretch my leg comfortably which helped improve circulation before/after walking on uneven pavement for hours a day and 3) I was not bothering anyone -- not the bus driver in front of me or her next to me. Well, she felt inclined to reassign me (she said she wanted passengers to take turns sitting there) and I had to sit on the very last row of the bus -- which caused me a lot of discomfort and pain. I think other passengers must have expressed concern for my wellbeing (after seeing me hobble to the back of the bus) because she then said, "You can sit in front of the bus to stretch your leg". Well, too little too late! I took pain medication to ease my severe discomfort which made me drowsy and sleepy for what was left of the tour. I travel internationally every year -- and sadly was VERY disappointed with Tour Radar. My brother suggested we try Tour Radar this time around. But I should have insisted on going with Go Ahead Tours to visit Greece. We have traveled with Go Ahead Tours in the past, a total of 7 times -- and they know how to treat their customers. She was knowledge in Greek history for sure -- but impolite. - Nicolin· May 2nd, 2024Our guide Maria was great. She is like a walking historian and she’s very kind and knowledgeable. Our driver was fantastic. He handled the bus like a pro. All of the stops were appropriate. The hotels that my group had were all four stars and very nice but we had a little time to enjoy it because we always arrived late in the evening. I wish we had more time to enjoy it. Overall, all of the sites were amazing but it was quite rushed and we spent a lot of time on the bus. I wish that we had more time to spend in Athens since it is the capital but the way the trip was planned, it only allowed for the afternoon of the first day. - WLWing· November 18th, 2023The travel agent, Fez Travel, provided excellent service of coordinating our trip, such as airport pick up/drop off, itinerary documentation, etc.. However, the tour guide of the tour company, GoTours, provided very poor services. She walked and talked on her own without care about the group (40+ people). She lost 10 people at one time. I felt humiliated by her while she needed to count people. She would ask us to line up 2x2 for her to count us. Her speech tone is flat. We barely understand about 1/3 of her talk. She gave confusing instructions on dinner time and the next day breakfast and gathering time. Everyone asked her to repeat. She always be the first one walk away from the bus at every stop. She never greet nor voluntarily communicate with people. It was confusing at one of the lunch restaurant (lunch is a not included in the tour). The restaurant setup like a buffet/canteen but no price shown. She did not explain nor advise us ahead. We asked the cashier. The cashier told us it charges 14 Euro per plate. Soup and salad are extra, no price. We were asked to get in line (the cashier was busy), and, we did know where was our tour guide. Later, we found our she was having her lunch in another room. 1) Are the hotel rates lower in last fortnight of April or 19 Apr - 3rd May 2025? Yes they are a bit cheaper. (2) is the weather better during these days? It is usually around 15-20 degrees. (3) probability of rainy days in this period? Can't say but spring is rainy. (4) Less tourists? So smaller que at museums, etc.? Greece is popular whole year round but comparing with July- August - September, there'll probably by less tourists.

After consulting our rep in Greece, we do not recommend to travel between 19th April and 3rd May because 20 & 21 April is Easter and all archaeological sites. Also shops will be closed on the 1st of May is Labor Day, as well as Museums are closed and ferries do not operate. On the other hand weather for May dates is better than April.
