Athens
Your private transfer from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport takes you to your hotel in Athens. After settling in, you have the rest of the day to wander around the city and get your bearings at whatever pace works for you.

Athens to Kalambaka
You'll head out early toward Mount Parnassus to see the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythius, where you can check out the Treasury of the Athenians, the Theatre, Stadium, and the Museum with its famous Charioteer statue. The drive takes you through the Thessalian plains and small towns like Amphissa, Lamia, and Trikala before you reach Kalambaka. Dinner is back at your hotel that evening.

Kalambaka to Athens
After breakfast, you'll drive to Meteora to walk through the UNESCO World Heritage site with over 20 monasteries built on towering sandstone cliffs. On the way back to Athens, you'll stop at Thermopylae to learn about the historical battle between the Greek Spartans and Persians. You'll get back to Athens by early evening.
