I don’t even know where to start about Ri. This was my first time travelling outside of Australia without my family and was very apprehensive and a bit nervous. But the second I meant Ri all of my nerves were gone. She is genuinely such a kind, cheerful and happy person to be around. She was so incredible most of the time I forgot she was actually working because I was just considering her a friend. She goes above and beyond to make the long coach fun and always makes sure everyone is included. If anything didn’t work out the way we ideally wanted it to she was the first person to be so positive about it. Her optimism and bubbly personality set the tone for the whole trip. If anyone deserves tour guide of the year it is her 1000 times over. When I do my next contiki I hope I am with her. I don’t know if this is the teacher side of her but she is alway creating new and interesting ways to teach us the history behind places we were going my favourite being a play the contiki participated in for the history of Romulus and Remus. Ri is incredible at her job and is amazing with people in general! I hope she gets this award because after 11 days I can confidently say she deserves it. Love you Ri!!!

Information and facts just flowed out of her where ever we were!
