Amsterdam
You'll arrive in Amsterdam and have the day to wander around this lively city with its bicycles, boats, and canals everywhere. This evening you'll join your Travel Director and the group for a canal cruise that comes with light dinner and drinks.

Amsterdam to Heidelberg
A river cruise takes you through Germany toward St. Goar with Rhine Valley views along the way. From there you'll head to Heidelberg, a university town with Renaissance buildings and an Old Town, plus you can see the castle from town. Tonight there's a Be My Guest dinner at Weingut Wehweck vineyard where you'll meet Herr Philipp Wehweck, the third generation owner.

Heidelberg to Lucerne
You'll travel into the Black Forest to see how cuckoo clocks are made, then cross into Switzerland's alpine region. After that, you'll visit Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen, which is Europe's largest waterfall. Later you reach Lake Lucerne and visit Max Chocolatier to learn about their sustainable chocolate process and you'll receive a gift of Swiss chocolate.

Lucerne
Start your morning with an orientation of Lucerne, walking across the historic Chapel Bridge and seeing the Lion Monument from 1792. You'll have the afternoon free to shop in the Old Town for souvenirs and chocolates. If you want, you can hike nearby mountains for views, walk along the lake, or check out the city's decorated building facades.

You'll travel into France through Alsace and pass the Maginot Line while seeing the Burgundy Wine Region with its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards. By evening you're in Paris with free time to explore the grand streets on your own. There's an optional cabaret experience if you're interested.

Paris
A Local Specialist will guide you through Paris's art and history, starting with the Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, and Eiffel Tower. You'll see Notre Dame and walk through the Latin Quarter. In the afternoon you'll spend time in the city's gardens and stylish neighborhoods. If you want, you can visit Versailles. Tonight you'll have dinner with your group and Travel Director.
