Our guide Violetta and our driver Csongi did an excellent job not only getting us around in some of the worst traffic I've ever seen in Paris to making a last night recommendation for dinner and an opera. Outstanding, responsive guide that did very well managing 50+ personalities on a bus for 12 days.

This tour is perfect for people traveling to Europe for the first time it highlights most of the sights iconic to each place. The tour is fast paced and I wouldn’t recommend it to people with mobility issues. Some of the hotels in this tour have stairs especially the one in Rome which has 2 flights of stairs before you get to the front desk.

Everything well organized and informative very enjoyable. Patricia was friendly, patient, loved her historical information she shared. She kept good track of everyone. Enjoyed our stay at all hotels. Venice hotel had the most comfortable beds and pillows. Sorrento hotel so beautiful with breath taking views and good food and live music in the evenings and had a shuttle throughout the day and evening to the town and back to hotel. I loved the bath tub in the room and the ambiance of the hotel. Really enjoyed the boat ride around the island of Capri. Loved visiting Multifulciano. Wow soo beautiful. The best food was in the restaurant in Multipulciano. Enjoyed the hop on and off bus in Rome. Enjoyed visit to Vatican City and coliseum. Enjoyed visiting Assisi. Our bus drivers were very good. They are very good drivers. Hotel St. Martin was very clean nice rooms and food. Good location next to metro! Many things close by. Hotel workers very polite and helpful. Enjoyed the food service. We are very greatful to Patricia our tour guide. She really made this tour work well. It is because of her that we would do another adventure with touradar. Would like more time in multipulciano it is so beautiful there.

It was such a wonderful experience being my first Europe tour ever. Our tour guide Alex was such a pleasure to be with, so informative and caring and even our driver Cshongi who drove us safely to our destinations. I have ticked off a lot of places on my bucket list and they are all worth seeing. The group of tourmates I am with even made my trip memorable and I gained friends for life on this Europe Escape trip. I highly recommend Expat Explore and would travel again with them on my next adventure.

The tour leader was horrible, rude, mean, aggressive with the bus driver. Dismissive of concerns, didn't know where she was going. Left us for 2 hours after a tour finished early to shop, then walked us around in circles looking for the bus while on the phone swearing at the driver. Some of the 'included' dinners were microwaved lasanga and rubber pork chops (also microwaved). Mostly on the bus with long drives, no entertainment or games. Just headphones and books.

Our bus driver and tour guide, Ildi, were great. India was fun, animated organized and knowledgeable. That being said, the promotional material foe the tour should've been more tranparebt: you will spend up to 6 hours plus,on a coach each day. You will be required to wake up and be ready by 6 am most dates. You will have very united free time to explore or shop. You will live out of a suitcase for thr whole trip, changing hotels each day. Meals that are part of the tour are not always great etc. Our tour guide walked about 150 km per hour. I could barely keep up and found myself crying sometimes. Overall the trip was good but these details should've been shared in advance so we could better prepare.

Although we do not have a strict upper limit on age groups, it would depend on the traveler to decide if they wish to join the tour. However, please note that our tours are active in Nature and involves a lot of walking and these walking tours are at times in cobbled stone streets and can take up to 2-3 hours. Also, walking tours may include stairs. If those are not a problem for you, then you are more than welcome to join.

I'm interested in this tour for my family of 4 next yr-Sept or October. We have family in Vienna that's why we initially plan to stay with them for 2 nights & they can show us around. The initial places that we wanted to visit are- Vienna, Salsburg, Budapest, Slovenia, Venice, Rome & Barcelona. I know it's hard to get a single tour with this itinerary in mind. When I saw your tour package, it got me interested and maybe there's a way to be able to combine even just the family visit in Vienna with your package tour. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten September 2025

Depending on your chosen departure date and once the group booking is confirmed and finalized, the meeting point in Rome will usually be at one of our contracted hotels, which are typically: Excel Roma Montemario, Warmthotel, Best Western Blue Hotel. The exact confirmed hotel will be listed in your Tour Leader Announcement (TLA), which is sent out 10–15 days before departure along with the final joining instructions.

Can you accept 50% payment, and after the processing of the visa, the remaining 50% is paid? What will be the first port for this tour? I mean, if one is applying for the visa, which country?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten August 2025

For our Tours, when a customer books a tour that is more than 60 Days away, they are only required to pay at least 10% of the cost as deposit and then the remaining balance is due 60 Days before the tour starts. We provide Visa Supporting Documents like e-Ticket and Visa Letter, Itinerary & Accommodations List. Full payment is required because it will show in the e-Ticket if the tour has a balance or not. Visa Applications for not fully paid tours are rejected. For our Europe Escape Tour, the recommended Embassy for customers to apply for their Schengen Visa is the Italian Embassy because that is where the tour spends the most days.

For Australian residents up to 65 years of age, Trip Cancellation insurance is available for purchase via the booking page. This coverage applies from booking until tour departure and does not provide coverage while on tour. We recommend exploring alternative comprehensive policies. Insurance through our partner is optional.
