Asked on April 27th, 2025We plan to travel as a family with our 13 year old daughter. What would the accommodation arrangements in the double room be like? Is there an option to get an extra bed / rollover bed at each hotel room?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
Please note that as per European hotel rules and policy, three travelers are not permitted to stay in one room with twin beds, this cannot be allowed. Therefore the third traveler would need to either be roomed with a fellow traveler of the same gender or purchase a single supplement.

Should you wish to extend your stay you would be required to arrange your own post-tour accommodation as well.

Asked on April 6th, 2025Would like to know more about details. age is 65- 69. Need to know the details about the trip.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
For our Tours, we do allow customers from the 65-69 age bracket as long as they are fully aware of the active nature of the tour which involves Guided Walking Tours in each city visited that could take upto 3 Hours. We believe the best way to get to the heart and soul of a city is on foot, surrounded by the people and the culture. For this reason, we do walking tours through most of the cities we visit. Many of the cities you visit are vast and old, often with steps and cobblestones. Our walking tours can last up to 3 hours with plenty of opportunities to take photographs and soak up the history of these fascinating places, but you do require a certain level of fitness to enjoy your tour to its fullest.

Asked on April 5th, 2025I see this tour involves a winery and beer tasting. I'm sober from alcohol, and wonder if you think i might still enjoy those particular excursions if i choose to not drink?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written April 2025
That should be totally fine. The tasting for wine and beer is only part of the experience while seeing the process of they are made and other factors that goes into producing them is enough to make the experience worth wile.

Asked on March 18th, 2025We are interested in booking the Europe Escape for early June. Before booking, we need to get a Schengen visa for my Thai wife. To obtain this visa, we need the details of all the hotels, which the itinerary does not show. Please kindly send all details of the hotels so we can apply for the Schengen visa.

Eileen
Traveler•Written March 2025I am now in a Catch 22 situation. I am unable to apply for a visa until I confirm a booking, but do not want to confirm a booking without knowing I can get a visa. Please advise what you mean by "appropriate timframe" when you refer to sharing the full itinerary and hotel details. Surely other guests need to know at least the starting hotel in Rome so that they can book this for 1-2 nights before the tour starts?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written March 2025
We can only provide visa supporting documents once your tour is paid in full. However, I can confirm that the starting point for this tour departure is: Meeting Point: Excel Roma Montemario, Address: Via degli Scolopi, 31, 00136 Roma RM, Italy. Meeting Time: 07:30 AM. This should help you plan any pre-tour accommodation.
