- RBRebecca· September 17th, 2025The tour leader was horrible, rude, mean, aggressive with the bus driver. Dismissive of concerns, didn't know where she was going. Left us for 2 hours after a tour finished early to shop, then walked us around in circles looking for the bus while on the phone swearing at the driver. Some of the 'included' dinners were microwaved lasanga and rubber pork chops (also microwaved). Mostly on the bus with long drives, no entertainment or games. Just headphones and books.Show moreTrip date: August 2025

- Nina· August 27th, 2025Our bus driver and tour guide, Ildi, were great. India was fun, animated organized and knowledgeable. That being said, the promotional material foe the tour should've been more tranparebt: you will spend up to 6 hours plus,on a coach each day. You will be required to wake up and be ready by 6 am most dates. You will have very united free time to explore or shop. You will live out of a suitcase for thr whole trip, changing hotels each day. Meals that are part of the tour are not always great etc. Our tour guide walked about 150 km per hour. I could barely keep up and found myself crying sometimes. Overall the trip was good but these details should've been shared in advance so we could better prepare.Show moreTrip date: August 2025

- Albert· August 24th, 2025Overall, trip was great. Got to see a fantastic cross section of various European locations. Our tour guide, Ildy was fantastic. Always on the ball and kept things rolling on schedule. The one recommendation I have is that when you drop us off for 90 minutes or 2 hours in a location, to explore and find lunch, it would be really helpful to have some recommendations for coffee places, dessert, lunch, shopping for specific items, etc. specific to that city/town.Show moreTrip date: August 2025

For Australian residents up to 65 years of age, Trip Cancellation insurance is available for purchase via the booking page. This coverage applies from booking until tour departure and does not provide coverage while on tour. We recommend exploring alternative comprehensive policies. Insurance through our partner is optional.

Asked on July 19th, 2025Is there any possibility to register with the discounted price which was displayed earlier around USD1800 for the European Escape tour?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
The price that you saw might have been due to a promotion and regrettably, promo prices are offered for a limited time and others for a certain number of seats only. Since the Promo has probably ended, or the seats are sold out, we can no longer offer that Promotional Price at this point.

Asked on July 8th, 2025Could you advise if we can join the group mid-tour—perhaps in Amsterdam or Switzerland? Are there alternative departures in the second week of October instead of the first? Would we still be able to experience Oktoberfest, and is it included in the itinerary?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
While you can begin your adventure at a later stage, it's important to notify us and your tour leader in advance. Please note the tour cost remains the same regardless of when you join. We have available dates from 5 October 2025 to 16 October 2025, and 12 October 2025 to 23 October 2025. Although Oktoberfest isn't part of our itinerary, there's a treasure trove of experiences and destinations to explore on this adventure.

Asked on July 6th, 2025Could you explain a little more for me? Also how can I book the optional excursions?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
Once you have a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill out the Important Passenger Information Page (IPI). It is there that you will be asked to provide your Insurance Details. Since it is from your Card Provider, you can add the name of the Bank and for the Policy Number, if you have no information from the Card Provider about that, you can just input 0000 and the Phone Number, you can just use the Bank's Number.

Asked on July 2nd, 2025Do you pay for our transport/flights for each place (E.g. rome to paris) or do we have to pay for each individual flight?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
Flights are not included in the tour cost, so you would need to arrange these separately. However, rest assured that all transportation during the tour is provided via coach, and these costs are covered within the tour package.

Asked on July 2nd, 2025What time does the tour start on 9/14? Our flight doesn't arrive at the airport until 5pm or 19:00. Do they also do airport pickups? If this is too late- can I cancel my trip or change to a different trip?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
Your tour is scheduled to begin on September 14th at 07:30 AM, with the meeting point at Excel Roma Montemario. Airport transfers are no longer provided. We recommend using public transport for airport-to-hotel transportation. If flying in a day earlier isn't possible, you do have the option to change your tour date (a £35 amendment fee applies), or you can review the cancellation terms if needed.

Traveler•Written July 2025Can we take a train to meet with the tour group later on in the evening or next day? What's the itinerary and exact locations and times/ name of hotel and address they will be at so we can meet there?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
You can catch a train to Venice after arriving in Rome. Then contact the Tour Leader to get instructions on whether you can meet them at the Hotel. On Day 2, the Tour will head to Innsbruck early on that day (After Breakfast at the Hotel).
