- Nigel· July 29th, 2025Overall, the tour was great. Everything mentioned was what I expected. The only improvement I could recommend is for upgrades on the tour bus itself. Such as updated charging stations and wifi would be nice as well while traveling from other locations.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- James· July 19th, 2025A very busy tour but generally well done. Having done group tours before this one lacked attention to detail and the food on included diners was for the most part VERY disappointing. Also almost all dining was inside in sweltering conditions while everyone else was dining outside.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- HPHandry· July 12th, 2025Togo and Robbie from Expat tour were amazing when it comes to being tour leader and coach expert. They have been in the business forever and have expertise in being locals and navigate through cities like a batman.Show moreTrip date: June 2025

- KGKatherine· July 1st, 2025Initially we were worried it would be too much as we are both in our 60's and not super fit. The days were long but the pace was fair and at no point are you compelled to do everything. On one day we were a bit sick and could not participate. We rested that day and were back on track the next day. Our tour guide was super helpful with alternative options if we wanted to do something different. By the end of the trip we were much fitter :)Show moreTrip date: June 2025

The content in our FAQ section is subject to change.- G
Graham
Asked on July 2nd, 2025Do you pay for our transport/flights for each place (E.g. rome to paris) or do we have to pay for each individual flight?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
Flights are not included in the tour cost, so you would need to arrange these separately. However, rest assured that all transportation during the tour is provided via coach, and these costs are covered within the tour package.

Asked on July 2nd, 2025What time does the tour start on 9/14? Our flight doesn't arrive at the airport until 5pm or 19:00. Do they also do airport pickups? If this is too late- can I cancel my trip or change to a different trip?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
Your tour is scheduled to begin on September 14th at 07:30 AM, with the meeting point at Excel Roma Montemario. Airport transfers are no longer provided. We recommend using public transport for airport-to-hotel transportation. If flying in a day earlier isn't possible, you do have the option to change your tour date (a £35 amendment fee applies), or you can review the cancellation terms if needed.

Traveler•Written July 2025Can we take a train to meet with the tour group later on in the evening or next day? What's the itinerary and exact locations and times/ name of hotel and address they will be at so we can meet there?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written July 2025
You can catch a train to Venice after arriving in Rome. Then contact the Tour Leader to get instructions on whether you can meet them at the Hotel. On Day 2, the Tour will head to Innsbruck early on that day (After Breakfast at the Hotel).

Asked on June 23rd, 2025Are you able to provide the hotel details that travellers will be staying at by the time they arrive in Rome for the tour? Is there an option to add 1 night stay before the official start of the tour?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
Hotels are confirmed closer to the departure date, but we can provide the contracted list for customers who has a confirmed booking. Regrettably, we are unable to assist in reserving pre and post-accommodation. You can use Booking.com for your reservations.

Asked on June 19th, 2025Is there a way I could get a list of all the optional excursions? I also read that some need to be pre purchased due to popularity. How can i do that?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
Optional excursions can be pre-booked after your booking is confirmed. Some excursions require booking at least 20-30 days prior due to high demand. Examples include Colosseum & Roman Forum Guided Tour, Vatican Museums Guided Tour, and Jungfraujoch journey. You can request pre-booking through our customer service once your tour is confirmed.

Asked on June 16th, 2025Do i need to purchase a ticket for our baby? And also may i know for which destinations should i book flight tickets for
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
Due to the nature of our tours being packed with activities and extensive walking, we have established a minimum age limit of 10 years old, as they may not be suitable for young children.

Asked on June 16th, 2025is the amount on the advanture caters transport from africa
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
The tour price listed on our website only covers the land portion of the tour—this includes your accommodation, transportation between destinations in Europe, some meals, and the services of your tour leader. International flights, including transport from Africa to the tour's starting point in Rome, are not included in the tour price. You'll need to arrange and book your flights separately to arrive at the meeting point in Rome on Day 1, as well as your return flights.

Asked on June 9th, 2025All travel is through bus why no inbound flights are incorporated or train travel has been included for more good experience? As for Switzerland the travel should be through train which would provide amazing panoramic view of hills. Please add train travel to Switzerland instead of bus.

Traveler•Written June 2025Is it possible to get further discount if 2 people are travelling together?
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
All our tours are operated exclusively by private coach. This allows us to offer a cost-effective, flexible, and comfortable travel experience while ensuring smooth logistics, especially when crossing multiple borders in one trip. While we absolutely understand the charm of train travel, especially in scenic regions like Switzerland, incorporating trains or flights would significantly impact the tour cost, coordination, and group travel experience. Our coaches do offer panoramic windows, regular breaks, and a relaxed group setting that many travelers enjoy, especially with views of the Swiss Alps along the way! As for pricing, we do strive to keep our tours as affordable as possible, and our current rates already reflect excellent value. While we don't offer additional discounts specifically for two people traveling together, you may want to check for any seasonal promotions or early bird deals on our website or via TourRadar, if that's where you're booking through.

Asked on June 8th, 2025My friend and I are interested in booking a Euro trip and had a few questions about how it all works. We're both based in Glasgow, but we hold Indian passports and will need to apply for a multi-country Schengen visa. We're not sure where to start and would really appreciate some guidance.
- Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written June 2025
For Visa Applications, the Embassy that you need to apply for the visa depends on which tour you book. If it is our Europe Escape Tour, the recommended Embassy is the Italian Embassy since the tour spends most days on that country. Also, we do provide Visa Supporting Documents for customers but we can only release the documents once the following conditions are met. 1. Booking is Paid in Full 2. Travel Date is within the next 90 Days
