The 14-day tour is ambitious; this is NOT for travelers who want to tip-toe around a warm pool in sandals and drink margaritas all day. This tour is for more adventurous travelers with a strong sense of awe and discovery of this wonderful world! What complemented the tour immensely was the tour guide (Kevin) who was endowed with a marvelous grasp of the various histories of culture, buildings and landscapes. He also made the tour very personal with acknowledgments of our birthdays and a working memory of our names. I highly recommend this tour for anyone and everyone!Show more

Coach was fantastic, very nice, clean and extremely comfortable with USB chargers in every seat. Meals were top notch, abs accommodation was, for the majority, great. Tour guide and bus driver were so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made my family and I feel extremely safe on the whole journey. Expat Explore TravelOperator•Written September 2025We welcome travelers aged 10 years and above, and there is no upper age limit – elderly travelers are very welcome as long as fitness and mobility requirements are considered, since our tours can include long walking tours, early mornings, and some long driving days. Our groups are typically a friendly mix of travelers from their 20s to 70s, with the majority usually in their 30s to 60s. You'll find solo travelers, friends, couples, and sometimes families with older children, which makes for a diverse and social atmosphere on tour. On average, group sizes are around 30–40 people, with a wide variety of nationalities joining, so it's a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded travelers from around the world.

Our tours are based on twin-share accommodation. This means each room is shared between two travelers, and unfortunately, we do not offer triple rooms. For groups of three, the third traveler will either be roomed with another solo traveler of the same gender, or you can choose to add a single supplement for a private room if preferred. We also do not offer pre- and post-tour accommodation. Once booking is confirmed, we can recommend using external sites such as Booking.com to arrange extra nights directly, referencing the tour's meeting and ending hotels for your search.

We welcome travellers of all ages, and many of our guests are in a similar age range. This tour is a fantastic way to see a variety of Europe's highlights in a short space of time, offering a mix of guided sightseeing, coach travel, and plenty of free time to explore at your own pace. We do recommend that travellers have a reasonable level of fitness and mobility, as the itinerary includes walking tours (sometimes on cobblestones or uneven ground), as well as getting on and off the coach daily.

Optional excursions can be arranged on tour with your tour leader, who will go through all the options with the group on Day 1. You'll be able to confirm your interest then and pay either in local cash or by credit card. Prices and availability are subject to change. Pre-bookable excursions like Colosseum & Roman Forum Guided Tour and Thames, Towers & Tastes generally require advance reservations, so their availability on tour may be limited.

Group sizes are a maximum of 50 travelers, including the tour leader and driver. Most optional excursions can be arranged directly with the tour leader during the trip. If an excursion is available for pre-booking, you'll be able to request it through your client's confirmed booking dashboard, and we'll add it for you.

Visa and entry requirements will always depend on your passport nationality. It's great to know that you already have a Schengen visa, which will cover you for all the Schengen-area countries included on this tour. However, the United Kingdom is not part of the Schengen zone, so a separate UK visa (or an ETA, depending on your nationality) may be required. If it turns out you need a UK visa and are unable to obtain it in time, an alternative option would be to join the group from the next destination outside of the UK — for this tour, that would be Day 2 in Paris. You would then need to end your trip at the last Schengen destination, as the tour finishes back in London. Please note that while we can provide guidance, we are not a registered visa agency, and requirements can change. We strongly recommend checking with your local UK embassy or a reputable visa agency to confirm what applies for your nationality.
