What people love about Budget Tours in Italy
- AMALFI & TUSCANY - 7DAYS/6NIGHTS
My wife and I did the Amalfi Coast and Tuscany 7 days/6 nights tour and had a magnificent time. This included Pompeii archeological visit, 3 nights in Sorrento where we toured the island of Capri, the towns on the Amalfi coast and spent our evenings in downtown Sorrento, After that we had great walking tours of Napoli, Our tour leader for the first half, Carlo, was fantastic (and was always willing to answer my questions about how to say certain things in Italian as I had been studying for months). We then picked up our next tour leader Ned in Florence. Ned provided a great walking tour in Florence, then led us to the second part of the vacation in Tuscany. The second half of the trip was more self-guided and just knowing when to hit the next shuttle. Altogether, this was a nice blend of crazy/gogogo and relaxation. Our accommodations in Florence and Tuscany were top notch (both with good, free breakfast). If there was a drawback, it was probably the campground in Sorrento. it wasn't bad (The AC and shower in the tiny cabins were both excellent), but was a little more rustic than we had in mind. we were lucky that as a couple we got to stay together while other singles were paired together without really getting to know one another quite yet. If you're ok for that type of adventure, then it's great, but could be awkward. Full disclosure, we were a bit older than most of the group too. Also, we heard so much about the "private beach" at the campground, but it closed early and we never really got to enjoy it after long days of walking in the sun). Also, there seemed to be a little miscommunication early on about what was included and what was "extra" during the tour as different groups did different things. But this was all worked out quickly and did not create any undue stress. I think it would also be nice if the tour pick up and drop offs in Florence were at the train station when everyone can more easily arrange their travel. In general, this tour had amazing scenery, wine and food and we have memories for a lifetime. I would recommend this company for sure and will check them out again if we get to go back someday.
- Rome, Florence & Venice
Giuseppe our tour guide was Excellent! He was very organized, his communication of English is outstanding. I was most impressed with his seamles improvisational skills in those days the weather did not cooperate he made the day effortlessly fun! He certainly made my vacation very memorable.
- Italy City Break - 5 Days
Amazing time. You get to see so much, in such a short amount of time it was awesome
