Itinerary
- Day 1
Venice
You'll check in at your 3-star hotel in Venice Mestre, then have the day to yourself. The floating city is only 20 minutes away, so head over and wander through the narrow alleys at your own pace. Stop by the Doge's Palace if you're interested in the history, or grab a gondola ride for something more relaxed. It's a good day to get oriented and settle into the area.

- Day 2
Venice
After breakfast, you can pick how you want to spend your day. Take a motorboat out to Murano and Burano islands to see glass-blowing workshops and the colorful buildings of the lace-making town. If that doesn't appeal to you, there's a guided walk through Venice's historic center hitting the well-known landmarks, or you could book a private gondola ride for something quieter and more intimate.

Venice to Florence
Following breakfast, head to the train station and take a high-speed train to Florence, which takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive and check into your hotel, the rest of your day is open. The historic center is small and easy to get around, so you can wander over to see the Duomo, check out Piazza della Signoria, cross the Ponte Vecchio, and try some local food and wine whenever you get hungry.

- Day 4
Florence
After breakfast, decide how you want to tackle Florence's Renaissance sites. Join a walking tour that traces the Medici family's history through the city, visiting Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, the Baptistery, and Ponte Vecchio. Or go with a small group tour at the Accademia Gallery where you'll skip the long lines and see Michelangelo's David along with other important works.

Florence to Sorrento
After breakfast, catch a high-speed train from Florence to Naples, which runs about 2.5 hours. A private driver will meet you at Naples railway station and drive you down to Sorrento, where you'll check in at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day however you like, getting settled and maybe taking a walk around town to get your bearings.

Sorrento
Following breakfast, you have options for exploring Sorrento. Take a walking tour focused on the town's history and local products like lemons, olive oil, and cheese, including stops at production facilities. Alternatively, join a guided tour through a traditional lemon garden where you'll learn about the famous Sorrento oval lemon, how it's grown, and taste homemade jams, cheese, and limoncello.

Sorrento to Rome
After breakfast, your private driver picks you up and takes you to Naples railway station for the high-speed train to Rome, just 1 hour away. Check in at your 3-star hotel in Rome and then the day is yours. Start walking around at your own rhythm, checking out the squares, churches, fountains, and ancient ruins scattered throughout the city.

Rome
After breakfast, explore Rome however you prefer. Book an all-day Hop-On/Hop-Off bus tour with audio guides if you want coverage of the major sites like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Vatican Museums. Otherwise, take a walking tour through the historic center to find Rome's quieter spots, charming cobblestone streets, piazzas, and local restaurants.
