Our tour guide Kristina was amazing; from morning to evening she was ensuring that everyone was taken care of and the myriad of details that go into an epic adventure like this were covered. She was patient, thorough and kind with our wonderful group of 40+ folks from all corners of the world. Our coach driver Manuela was also excellent. The driver is critical to the success of this tour because of the narrow and curvy streets and tight timelines and she was always in control and command. She made everyone feel safe and in good hands as we circled Italy. Together with the great service we experienced so many things it was almost surreal. She had a great sense of humour and kept people on track with the timetable without being authoritarian. The pace was challenging. Lots of early starts. Some of the hotels were not very good. The first one in Rome had numerous things broken in the room and the hotel was far too far away from anything. The second was terrible-no air con and staff were rude and unhelpful. This tour will include the Cinque Terre by train and reach Capri by ferry. Journey on a private boat along the Giudecca Canal to the centre of Venice, as well as a train ride La Spezia to Levanto and a boat to Capri and in the Venice canals. All entrance fees will be included in the total cost, except the optional excursions that will be offered during your free time. The specific locations you will enter will be provided in the more detailed itinerary you will received when you meet with the Tour Director.
