- PSPaul· March 29th, 2025It was not a group trip which is what I expected, I was on my own and spent a lot of time waiting around to be collected by a driver , tipping was more the priority of the tour company and I was messaged on numerous occasions to remind me to tip. The sites were spectacular and as I had been to Egypt before I knew what to expect. Our tour guide for the cruise section of the trip was very good Mohammed Sakour, very Knowledgeable and fun. A number of the site visits were rushed as the cruise boat was always late to depart. My accommodation in Cairo was awful well below a 3 star hotel, it was so poor I booked my own hotel for the return leg. All in all they were some highlights , but I will not return to Egypt, they go out of their way to make tourists feel uncomfortable. Would I recommend Egypt Cruise Travel?
