What people love about Coach / Bus Tours in Western USA
- Magnificent West – 8 days
Great tour, good group size too
- Best of the Canyonlands
Overall the tour was very enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful. Though the Vail stop was a disappointment as most shops and eateries closed. Cruise Director was very informative and very knowledgeable of the places. Captain Ron was most helpful getting us on and off the bus. Also a very good driver.
- LA to the Bay
I had a blast on the LA to the Bay tour in February 2017. Our tour leader Rachel and bus driver Markus were awesome people who loved to party with us and had good advice. There weren't any optional inclusions I did that I didn't enjoy. My favourites were the speedboats in San Diego, the hot air balloons and included Champagne in Scottsdale and the Jeep ride in Sedona. We didn't get to fly over the Grand canyon or really see the Hollywood sign (lucky I saw it the day before the tour) but we all enjoyed hiking down into the canyon for a few hours instead. I think we were lucky to have a really awesome group of people, not without our fair share of drama, mostly Australians but everyone was down to party and do as much as possible. I went with my gut and didn't do Cirque du Soleil or the Golden Gate bike tour. The first one I had read bad reviews of and the second one was plagued by bad weather. Bad weather was one of the main things that dampened the trip (the fog over the canyon was why our helicopter was cancelled) but because I made friends with some awesome people (who I still see all the time in Australia) we had fun regardless. I would recommend this tour to anyone because you smash so much out of the way in an amount of time that is not too short or too long. Some of my favourite memories are the room party we had with our $10 walmart liquor in Grand canyon, watching the bellagio fountain show with pizza in vegas, visiting the san diego zoo and the USS midway, snowmobiling and the hot tub in lake tahoe, the china town dinner in san francisco, meeting a lady singing opera in the grand canyon, chasing birds on venice beach, and drunkenly laughing at a hand dryer in little tokyo. My best friend and I made vlogs that you can watch if you search for "usa with bae + bae" on youtube. I did finish the tour quite sick and voiceless. My only things I hated were skiing (it was my first time and it is so exhausting and painful) and that we didn't spend enough time in San Francisco or book Alcatraz far enough in advance to see it. You've gotta book at least three weeks in advance. I wish Alcatraz was included in the tour but it isn't. If I could do it all again I probably wouldn't drink as much ;) #noregrets (cause in Vegas the price varies from $4 a drink to $20 :o )
