Las Vegas
You'll arrive in Las Vegas and check in at Caesars Palace on the Strip. The hotel has that Roman theme going on with plenty of restaurants and entertainment options throughout. This evening, you'll have dinner with wine and meet the other travelers on your tour.

Las Vegas to Bryce Canyon
Head out to Zion National Park in Utah. You'll start at the Visitor Center to get oriented, then hop on a narrated tram ride through Zion Canyon. The drive shows off massive cream, pink, and red sandstone cliffs along the Virgin River. Since private cars don't go on this road during summer, the tram's the way to see it. By evening you'll be settled in at Bryce Canyon Lodge for a two-night stay right inside the park.

Bryce Canyon
Spend the day exploring Bryce Canyon with its natural amphitheater and odd rock formations called hoodoos. Your Travel Director will explain how wind, erosion, and iron created them. There's an optional one-hour horseback ride available through Dixie National Forest if you're interested, going past 1,500-year-old Bristlecone Pines. Later you'll head into the woods to catch the hoodoos changing color at sunset, then come back for a three-course dinner with wine.

Bryce Canyon to Capitol Reef
Travel through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, which spans different climate zones from desert to forest. You'll see landscapes that were once home to Ancestral Puebloan and Fremont peoples. Then move on to Capitol Reef National Park to see colorful canyons and rock formations. Your Travel Director will point out the Waterpocket Fold, a geological feature that stretches almost 100 miles with cliffs, canyons, and bridges. You'll also see petroglyphs and white sandstone cliffs that look like capitol domes.

Lake Powell to Moab
Start at Arches National Park, which has more natural arches than anywhere else. You'll check out the Windows Section and see Double Arch up close. From there, head to Canyonlands National Park and drive onto Island in the Sky, a mesa that sits 1,000 feet above the surrounding land. You'll stop at several lookout points including Grand Viewpoint where you can see the Colorado River cutting through red rock. For dinner, you'll pick from local restaurants in Moab for a dine-around evening.

Moab to Mesa Verde
This afternoon you'll walk through historic Durango. Then you're off to Mesa Verde National Park to learn about the Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings. The park protects some of the best examples in the US, and you'll see Cliff Palace, which is the largest cliff dwelling in the country. After exploring, you'll stay the night inside the park.

Mesa Verde to Monument Valley
You'll visit the film location from Forrest Gump's final run, then head to Monument Valley. An off-road open-air vehicle takes you out to a cookout with members of the Navajo Nation. You'll have barbecue-grilled dinner with traditional Navajo fry-bread while surrounded by red rock scenery and enjoying the natural sounds of the valley.

Monument Valley
Start with an exclusive experience in Mystery Valley guided by a local Navajo guide. You'll see Anasazi ruins, rock art, petroglyphs, and pottery while taking in views of Monument Valley. Then you'll board off-road open-air vehicles to explore Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. You'll also visit John Wayne's Cabin at Goulding's Lodge, a small building used in the film She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.

Monument Valley to Grand Canyon
Begin by stopping at Cameron Trading Post to pick up Navajo jewelry, baskets, and pottery. Head to Desert View for one of the best Grand Canyon views from its watchtower, a building inspired by ancient Native American towers. Then you're at Grand Canyon National Park. You can either hike the Rim Trail or join a Local Expert for discussion about the canyon's geology, plants, and wildlife. The day wraps up with a three-course dinner with wine and sunset views inside the park.

Grand Canyon to Las Vegas
Wake up with the Grand Canyon as your backdrop and enjoy the peaceful morning before tourists arrive. There's an optional helicopter ride available for aerial views. Then you'll transfer to Las Vegas International Airport to head home. If you're staying longer in Las Vegas, a free transfer to your hotel is included.
