    Denver

    You'll arrive in Denver and have the afternoon and evening to explore the Mile High City on your own. The local coffeehouse and brewery scene is worth checking out if that interests you. This evening you'll meet your Travel Director and the other travelers for dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Moab

    Starting in Vail, you'll visit Field to Fork, an organic farm where you get a tour of the property and eat a farm-fresh meal with the owners. After that, you head to Moab. If you want, there's an option to take a sunset helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft tour over Canyonlands National Park, though that's your choice.

    Moab

    Your Travel Director leads you through Arches National Park, explaining how the 2,000 natural sandstone arches formed over time from rain and wind. You'll see Delicate Arch and Balanced Rock, then move on to Canyonlands National Park to see the Colorado River. The Island in the Sky mesa offers dramatic views. By evening, there's an optional light show with a cowboy-style Dutch Oven Dinner and Moab Queen II jet boat cruise if you're interested.

    Monument Valley

    Today takes you to Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO site with over 600 ancient cliff dwellings carved into sandstone canyon walls by the Ancestral Puebloan people. You'll travel through the Mesa Top Loop and Cliff Palace Loop to see the Cliff Palace. From there, you continue toward Monument Valley, which sits on Navajo Nation land and has been the backdrop for many famous Western films.

    A Local Specialist takes you through Monument Valley in an open-air vehicle, driving past towering sandstone buttes and mesas you've likely seen in Western movies. You'll travel along Desert View Drive, which has striking multi-colored canyon views. There's a stop at Desert Intertribal Cultural Heritage to learn about tribal stories and traditions. You finish at the Grand Canyon for a private geological talk with Canyon Tim, followed by a Farewell Dinner celebrating America's National Parks.

Later, you'll drive to Las Vegas, passing old motels, diners, and gas stations as the desert gradually transforms into the city's famous lights.
