Itinerary
- Day 1
Quito to Hacienda El Porvenir
You'll leave Quito early and travel to Hacienda El Porvenir where your biking adventure kicks off. After going through a bike test and getting your safety briefing, you head out on private trails that cut through native woods being restored for habitat conservation. The terrain is scenic and technical, giving you a real feel for the region. You'll come back to the Hacienda for lunch, then tackle another challenging mountain biking trail in the afternoon before wrapping up.

Hacienda El Porvenir to Hacienda El Tambo
This is the demanding day of your trip. You're riding 42 km at an average altitude of 3,800 m, crossing the eastern road of Cotopaxi National Park. Along the way you'll see Inca ruins, freshwater springs, and Andean lakes. From there it's an 18 km exclusive trail taking you to the remote Hacienda El Tambo in the El Condor Bio-reserve. After eating your box lunch during the ride, you arrive to a warm welcome including a hot drink by the fireplace and time for a hot shower.

- Day 3
Hacienda El Tambo to Quito
Start with a good breakfast at the Hacienda before heading back toward civilization. The first 20 km has gentle uphills and short climbs, then the route becomes much easier with downhill sections requiring minimal effort. You'll pass Limpiopungo Lake on the way, then follow the flat El Canal road back to Hacienda El Porvenir where you grab drinks. From there it's your return to Quito.
