- Vivian· May 22nd, 2025Five stars for the tour guide Szebastian; very attentive and is available to answer questions and offer great options on things to do. The itinerary is pretty laid back; a mixture of culture, beautiful streets, history, museums and lots of fortress views. I liked long walks around the various cities which was easy in these cities of the balkan countries. The optional Speedboat excursion in Hvar was worth it and I really enjoyed kayaking in Kotor. Visiting in April/May had sunny skies and clear skies but still kinda cold in the water. Overall, good hotels and good guidance but wished they included more natural parks and landscapes as an excursion from bosnia or from belgrade.Show more
- Lee· December 29th, 2024This was a combined trip/s from Berlin to Budapest and then Budapest to Spit so I had an experience with two different tour groups. The scenery and history is explained so well by our tour guide and learning more about the Serb/Bosnian war was invaluable. Auschwitch was cold, wet and raining and it depicted the conditions under which these people had to survive. Very moving day indeed for all. Budapest has such beautiful scenery and lovely icecream, cakes and chocolates! Spit is a walled city and I was there before the crowds which made it more comfortable for all.Show more

Asked on March 3rd, 2025I would like to know how strenuous this trip is having no idea of the terrain or what the tracks are like when days involve ascents of over 1000m; I'm 82 yrs old and walk regularly with a hiking group in mountains and National Parks but a bit slow on uphills and wouldn't like to hold a group back. Have any other very senior clients done this walk?
