- Day 1Arrival in BogotáYou'll land at El Dorado Airport and get picked up by your private driver for the 30 to 60 minute ride into Bogotá. Your English-speaking guide travels with you and points out neighborhoods and landmarks along the way, giving you a feel for the city before you even reach your hotel. 
- Day 2BogotáStart by walking through Paloquemao Market, a cultural hub inside a converted railroad warehouse where local chefs browse tropical fruits and fresh ingredients. After that, head to La Candelaria in the historic center to see Colón Theater, San Carlos Palace, and the Cathedral, then check out the Gold Museum. By late afternoon, take the cable car up Monserrate Hill for views over the city. - Meals

- Day 3Bogotá to The Coffee RegionYou'll head to Bogotá airport for a domestic flight to Colombia's coffee region. Once there, go straight to a local coffee farm to tour the plantations and get a welcome coffee. Learn how coffee goes from planting to grinding, try different preparations, and do a technical tasting before settling into your hotel for the night. - Meals

- Day 4The Coffee RegionYour guide picks you up for a full day in the coffee heartland. The morning includes the colonial town of Filandia with its colorful streets and a stop at Quindío viewpoint for panoramic views. Later, head into Cocora Valley to see the world's tallest wax palms surrounded by fog-covered forest. End your day in Salento, wandering cobblestone streets and visiting local craft workshops before returning to your hotel. - Meals

- Day 5The Coffee Region to MedellínAfter a private transfer to the airport, take a domestic flight to Medellín. Your driver meets you and takes you on a panoramic tour of the city, stopping at the Botanical Garden, Ruta N Technology Center, and including a short MetroCable ride on the iconic aerial cable car. Then visit Comuna 13 before ending with a walk around Botero Square, which displays 23 bronze sculptures by Fernando Botero. - Meals

- Day 6MedellínTravel out from Medellín through lush landscapes to El Peñol and Guatapé in Antioquia. You'll see the Guatapé Reservoir, a 64-square-kilometer body of water that generates 30 percent of Colombia's energy. There's an optional 649-step climb up the Rock of Guatapé for 360-degree views. In Guatapé, take a tuk-tuk tour through the colorful town, enjoy a private boat ride on the reservoir, and have lunch with panoramic views. - Meals

- Day 7Medellín to CartagenaFly from Medellín to Cartagena, and your driver takes you from the airport to your hotel in about 15 to 20 minutes. After settling in, around 3 or 4 pm when the light softens, your guide walks you through this historic city. You'll see the old fortress walls built against pirates, visit plazas, the Church and Monastery of San Pedro Claver, and the Cathedral. Wander through colonial streets with bougainvillea balconies, check out Bocagrande and Manga, climb up to El Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, visit La Popa Convent for views, and explore the artistic Getsemaní district. - Meals

- Day 8CartagenaYour hotel picks you up and takes you to the pier for a boat ride out to the Rosario Islands, a 27-island archipelago about 45 to 60 minutes away in Colombia's only mostly underwater national park. The day is yours to manage, so you can snorkel, swim, or rest on the beach. Lunch happens on one of the islands mid-day. Your private boat brings you back to Cartagena, then your driver takes you to your hotel. - Meals
