- MSMr. Andreas· May 9th, 2025The 10-day "Highlights of Uzbekistan" tour was an excellent and culturally very interesting tour. Our tour guide from G Adventures as the local organizer was very knowledgeable and helpful with individual needs. Uzbekistan is truly a gem with its rich and beautiful architecture going back to the silk road trade and its very friendly people and culture with delicious food. A particular highlight was Samarkand as a UNESCO World Heritage site with its architecture and the medieval fortified town of Khiva as an architectural masterpiece. Unique was the experience to in the authentic 'Sputnik Navoi' Yurt Camp near Lake Aidarkul with local traditional music in the evening that had a separate restaurant on-site and excellent food with a particularly friendly manager. All hotels of this tour were excellent and conveniently located within walking distance of the center and historic attractions. I can highly recommend this unique and diverse Uzbekistan tour experience.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for this wonderful review, Andreas! We are delighted to know how much you enjoyed your time with us in Uzbekistan and hope to welcome you on another adventure in the future!Trip date: July 2024
- ANAndrew· April 26th, 2025The itinerary was well organized and gave enough free time for travelers to explore on their own. Our guide Nazera was informative, pleasant and always patient and helpful with our concerns. My one pet peeve was that our hotel in Bukhara did not have strong water pressure and heating at one point, but it got better on the second day.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThanks so much for your review, Andrew! - JMJane· April 5th, 2025Marifat was a fabulous guide! Hotels mediocre, below average value for price. Would highly recommend Uzbekustan BUT not with G-Adventures.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThanks so much for your honest feedback, Jane. - Dermot· August 24th, 2024Had such an amazing time in Uzbekistan, a destination like no other! Kamola, our tour guide, was fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate when talking about the history of her country. She was also very organised and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat, watch the sunset etc I would recommend this tour for all ages!Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your experience with us, Dermot! It sounds like a wonderful trip with Kamola. We hope to welcome you on another adventure in the near future!Trip date: July 2024
- PAUL· April 19th, 2024A WONDERFUL COUNTRY WITH MANY SPENDORS... BUT BE PREPARED TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THE BUS IF YOU TAKE THIS TOUR Uzbekistan is fabulous and there are so many great things to see. The guide for this tour (Kamila) was very kind and competent. The accomodation was fine. The itinerary was standard. While the driver was excellent, a lot of time was spent on the bus. In retrospect, I wish I had had the confidence to travel independently using planes and trains.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThanks Paul,. We were glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Uzbekistan . We have noted your comments surrounding the long bus journey and we will pass that on to our product team.Trip date: March 2024
- RRRosemary· April 18th, 2024Uzbekistan is an amazing destination. It's safe, well organised and the architecture and culture are out of this world!Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThanks, Rosemary, for the five stars. We are happy to hear that you had such a great time. See you back on another G Adventure soon.Trip date: April 2024

Asked on June 18th, 2025I don't see the option of having a single room and the price for it ? Please confirm
- G AdventuresOperator•Written June 2025
Single occupancy option is offered on this tour, it is an additional 469.00 AUD. Please note that it is subject to availability (not available on this departure), this could be why it did not show up online. Please note that if you book the "My Own Room" option for this tour, you will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: Night 4 (Yurt camp). Once you decide to proceed, you can proceed and create a booking (A hold), and ask to add the single occupancy and we will let you know if it's available and add it on if it is!

Asked on February 22nd, 2025Is it possible to take a photo in traditional attire on this tour?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written February 2025
This would be a question for the tour leader on the trip to see if there is a place where you could try on or rent the traditional clothing for photos. We could also enquiry with the local office but can only do so once a booking is created or reserved.

Asked on February 13th, 2025Would like to know the schedule and start time
- G AdventuresOperator•Written February 2025
This trip is an arrive and depart anytime. On day 1, you can arrive anytime, keeping in mind the hotel check in (usually around 2:00pm). The welcome meeting on day 1 is usually around 6pm with the CEO and the group. If you had to miss it due to flights, that is totally fine, the CEO will leave information for you at the reception. On the last day, it's a depart anytime, nothing is scheduled for that day. The check out from the hotel is around 11am.
