    We planned to visit Uzbekistan and researched various tours but wanted slight amendments. Silk Road Destinations had advertised a 10 day tour for $1400. We wanted 11 days and certain specified hotels (we were nervous of other tour reviews which stated that on arrival in a location, guests were taken to 'alternative' hotels) however for each location we gave choices. When the itinerary was provided the price quoted was $2100 - for one extra day. On querying this we were told that the website was out of date and the person we were dealing with (extensive correspondence) had overlooked telling us that! We chose to

      • For any tour departing before June 11th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 11th, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Silk Road Destinations. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
      • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Silk Road Destinations will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
