Itinerary
- Day 1
Baltra to Santa Cruz
You'll land at Baltra airport and get assistance buying your bus ticket. After a quick 10-minute ferry ride to Santa Cruz Island, head into the highlands for an easy walk through a Giant Tortoise Reserve where you can see these creatures roaming freely. You'll also explore lava tunnels and check out the Gemelos rock formations before transferring to your hotel for check-in.

Santa Cruz
After breakfast, you get picked up and driven to Puerto Ayora for a guided walk around Tortuga Bay, a fantastic beach on the island's coast. From there, the Charles Darwin Research Station shows you the conservation and breeding work happening locally, where you can see tortoise hatchlings and observe the adults up close.

Santa Cruz to Isabela Island
Start early and board a fast boat heading to Isabela Island, pulling into Puerto Villamil by mid-morning. You'll visit Las Tintoreras, a small island where you might spot penguin colonies, blue footed boobies, and white tip sharks resting in lava canals. Snorkeling or swimming around the island is on the agenda before you return to Puerto Ayora by shared speedboat in the afternoon.

Santa Cruz
Hotel pickup happens at 8:00 AM for a 45-minute drive to Itabaca Channel on Santa Cruz Island. A 15-minute boat ride gets you to Daphne Islet for about 45 minutes of snorkeling and bird watching from the water, where you'll look for blue footed boobies, masked footed boobies, and frigate birds. Later, head to Bahia Borrero beach for more snorkeling or just relaxing on the sand.
