- CGCHARLES DALE· April 10th, 2024Great experience, highly recommended and above all the guide, she was spectacular, I would do it againShow moreTrip date: April 2024
- SARAH· January 8th, 2024Insulted and harassed by their driver and guide. I am a solo female who, unfortunately, used this tour company for a 10 hour tour. During the tour, everything that could go wrong, went wrong!!! Cursing, fast and unsafe driving, sexist comments, made by both the driver and the guide and to top it off, I was made uncomfortable after I was harassed by both the driver and guide for a simple question I asked - being called stupid in front of the whole bus. This tour was booked through GetYourGuide. They have been useless after my 9+ exchanges with them. So I decided to write directly to Timbebush and to my shock, with all I have reported to "Jodie" their customer service manager - nothing has been done l!!! Please do NOT take this company for your tours, you would be putting yourself in danger (fast and dangerous driving) and you would be disrespected and insulted especially if you are a single female!!Show moreTrip date: November 2023

- Hannah· November 3rd, 2018First off, I received no information when I was sent my “itinerary” about where or when to meet the bus in Glasgow. I had to email tourradar staff to get it. There should be a better way to inform clients beforehand. Secondly, Adrian was a very kind man. He drove very well and I felt safe even on the windy roads with him behind the wheel. However, He needs to give passengers clear communication on where we’re going and when we’ll arrive/ how long the stretch of road ahead is. Please don’t play bagpipe music for hours on end. I was hoping to hear some traditional folk songs and be told some interesting facts about the story/band performing them. I understand he’s new and as time goes on he’ll perfect his narration, but Adrian needed to add history/stories, especially to the long stretches of driving. I didn’t feel like I learned very much about Scotland or the important places we were going like Loch Ness at all. I would have loved to know the local legends/sightings and it would’ve really enriched the experience. And when explaining, if he could have the monologue well memorized so as not to leave giant pauses during the explanations, that would help. It was really hard to follow his stories/information when Adrian did talk. I was extremely disappointed and upset that two of the stops (one, the highland folk museum that I was really looking forward to) were closed and the guide was unaware and didn’t have a backup plan. I feel that it’s the responsibility of the company to know when these things are open. Why else would we have to book select dates for our trip? Please please please brush your teeth or have a breath mint before standing in front of a bus full of people and talking. It’s a little thing, but makes a huge difference. The Itinerary needs work. We took time to stop at a WWII memorial as the sun is setting on the first day and we still hadn’t gotten to the main attraction - Loch Ness. We only had 40 minutes at Loch Ness and our stop wasn’t even at the visitor center... I’d been dreaming of seeing the Loch and to then only have a little over half an hour as it was getting dark to appreciate it, made me feel like this once in a lifetime opportunity was wasted. POOR PLANNING TIMBERBUSH!!! And it was such a pity to come into Inverness at night and not get to see the town. I think more time in Inverness would be better for future tours. On the first leg of the journey highlight Loch Ness and Inverness more please. Overall, I’m angry. I don’t know if I’ll ever again have the opportunity to visit Scotland and to think my one chance was on a poorly planned tour is really a complete shame. I don’t blame Adrian. He’s new and still getting his sea legs, but for the company to have him unaccompanied when he’s not fully trained/ready is costly for all involved. Safe to say, i will not be recommending this tour to my friends or family. I wish I could get this experience back...Show moreTrip date: November 2018

Asked on April 7th, 2025Is it possible to start the tour in Glasgow, but end in Edinburgh?
- Timberbush ToursOperator•Written April 2025
We are glad to confirm that you can start this tour in Glasgow and finish in Edinburgh. All our multi-day tours end in Edinburgh regardless of where they started. We provide complementary train tickets to passengers departing from Glasgow and wishing to return there on the last day of the tour. These tickets have an open return, so you can choose the time slot most suitable for you at your arrival to Edinburgh, but must be used on the same day.

Asked on July 4th, 2023looking at travel with the 19 passenger bus, Glasgow to Inverness 2 day tour, just want to make sure there is enough room between seats that I can stretch my rt leg out as I have some mobility issues. Really wish to book this tour.
- Timberbush ToursOperator•Written July 2023
We operate on a "first come, first serve" basis. Guests are free to store any walking aids in the back of the coach, however when accessing the coach there are 2 to 3 steps. As this is a coach tour you can do as much or as little walking as you like and all the stops along your tour.

Traveler•Written June 2022I can't find this option in website. Is there another platform that I can make the booking from? Or is there a possibility that I can book a spot with you directly and pay when I arrive to Scotland?
