- Frania· September 29th, 2025Our trip with Overland Ireland included wonderful experiences such as touring gardens, a sheepdog demonstration and a farm experience. In addition, we saw all the sights you would expect on a tour of Ireland, but we also were able to participate in a falconry exhibition (very hands on) and an Irish coffee master class at an historic distillery. The small group format for 8 days was exactly what we hoped it would be and the relaxed pace was what we needed. All in all, we enjoyed this tour and would hope everyone has the opportunity to visit Ireland.Show more

Our tour guide Ciaran Maguire was very knowledgeable in providing historical backdrops which contextualized what we were seeing and experiencing on the excursions. In addition, the flow of the tour was not rushed but provided a relaxed pace. Our 11-person group was very pleasant and we all got along fantastically. The various hotels were excellent and had their own personalities which made for a nice variety of overnight stay.Show more
- Richard· September 28th, 2025We had a fantastic time on the 10-day Ultimate Ireland tour with Overland Ireland! Our guide and driver was James, who was awesome, and was the key reason the trip was so excellent. First, he was a great driver, which is important during 10 days of driving the narrow, winding roads around the coast of Ireland. But most important was his passion for his home country, and his knowledge of its history, which he shared with us throughout the journey. I learned so much about Ireland from James during this trip. In fact, I was profoundly impacted by the stories of the Irish people's struggles for freedom over the centuries, which has prompted me to read more about Irish history since the returning from the trip. I should also add that James had to revise the itinerary of the trip "on the fly" a few times, due to bad weather cancelling some activities. He was able to find other fun and interesting things for us to do on very short notice. I highly recommend Overland Ireland small group tours, and James in particular.Show more
