Victoria Falls
You'll arrive at your accommodation and head to the campsite to meet your leader and get settled in. The adventure officially starts at 2pm with a group meeting, then you're off to see Victoria Falls. This massive curtain of water drops 108 metres into the gorge below, and what you see depends on the season, but it's always quite a sight.

Chobe National Park
After breakfast and packing up, you travel to Chobe National Park in Botswana. The park is famous for its large elephant population, and you'll likely spot them swimming in the Chobe River alongside hippos, crocodiles, various birds, cheetahs and lions. Later in the day you'll relax on a sunset cruise down the river.

- Day 3
Chobe National Park to Nata
This morning brings an exciting game drive through Chobe National Park. From there you head to Elephant Sands near Nata, a lodge situated right on a natural waterhole where local elephants come to drink just metres away. The surrounding 16,000 hectare unfenced conservancy has plenty of other wildlife roaming freely.

Nata to Maun
You pack up and face a long travel day heading to Maun, which serves as the gateway to the Okavango Delta. This 16,000 square kilometre ecosystem has meandering waterways, green islands and lush plains filled with hippos, crocodiles, elephants and big cats. Your campsite on Maun's outskirts has shared facilities and WiFi.

- Day 5
Okavango Delta
You'll cruise through the Okavango Delta by mokoro, the traditional dugout canoes guided by local polers. Walking with experienced guides, you explore the lagoons, lakes and streams while spotting unusual wildlife and exotic birds. Tonight you camp on a remote island with basic facilities, falling asleep to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Landmarks Okavango Delta - Day 6
Okavango Delta
An early sunrise walk takes you out to spot elephants, Cape buffalo and other wildlife before heading back to camp for breakfast. The rest of the day is yours to relax, maybe take a swim, rest during the heat, or go on another mokoro trip if you want more time on the water.

Okavango Delta to Maun
After breakfast you take the mokoro back to the poling station, then travel to Maun. Once you arrive, the rest of your day is free to relax and do what you like at the campsite.

Landmarks Okavango Delta - Day 8
Maun to Khama Rhino Sanctuary
An early start takes you to Khama Rhino Sanctuary on the Kalahari Desert's edge. This conservation project protects Botswana's remaining black and white rhino populations and you'll also find zebras, giraffes, leopards, ostriches and wildebeest around natural waterholes. Later, you head out on a dusk game drive when rhinos are most active.

- Day 9
Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Marakele National Park
You cross into South Africa and arrive at Marakele National Park this afternoon. The park's varied terrain makes spotting gemsbok, mongoose, wild cats, warthogs and various birds pretty straightforward, and you've got chances to see black mane lions. If time permits, there's an afternoon game drive before you settle into camp.

Johannesburg
After breakfast you drive to Johannesburg, where the trip ends late in the afternoon. If you have spare time before departure, you can explore this city of contrasts by checking out the culturally rich areas of Newtown, Braamfontein or Maboneng, or visit the eye-opening Apartheid Museum.
