What people love about Africa Tours from Victoria Falls
- Vic Falls to Stone Town
What a great experience! I joined the Vic Falls to Stone Town camping tour in December 2018. There were 12 of us altogether, and we all got along which made it a wonderful experience. Itinerary: It's a classic Overland tour, giving tourists a good mixture of culture, safari and sight-seeing. The typical day begins before dawn and ends late in the evening. There's a lot of driving, but it's an opportunity to watch the scenery, chat with others and simply relax. Crew: Our crew, Victor, Emmanuel and Boni, took great care of us from morning until night. They were all very professional, knowledgeable and loved what they do. Victor knew a lot about Southern Africa's history and culture and was always very helpful. He did his best to make sure everyone was safe and happy. Emmanuel prepared three meals per day that met everyone's dietary requirements. There was always a lot of food, and I definitely gained a few kilos! Boni was fun to chat with (he's got a sense of humour) and an excellent driver. It made our long drives very comfortable. Camps The campsites had basic facilities - toilet, shower, bar, WiFi. It's all you need, really. WiFi was never free, but for $3 you get enough data to stay connected. The tents were good quality and mattresses were provided to make your sleep more comfortable. It gets cold at night, so many sure you pack a good sleeping bag and warm clothes. Value If your goal is to cut costs, this tour isn't for you. Yes, camping tours are some of the cheapest trips you can find, but you can save a lot more money by seeing Africa on your own. Overall, it was a memorable experience and one I'd love to do again. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Africa and make some friends along the way. Thank you, Intrepid! Note: the Tour Radar map shows that this tour visits Mozambique. This is incorrect. The tour only takes you to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania.
- Southern Africa Southbound: Dunes, Deltas & Falls
I have had two incredible trips with G Adventures. The guides were fantastic, always full of energy and excited to tell you anything specifically of interest to you to make your trip perfect. Considering the complex itineraries and number of people it's amazing that everything ran more or less smoothly. They packed as much as possible into the time available and didn't waste a minute. I loved the whole thing and will definitely be booking with them again. They take the hassle and stress out of organising leaving you free to enjoy the trip of a lifetime.
- 7-day Okavango Wilderness Trail (Accommodated)
Brillant guide, so friendly warm and knowledgeable. Went out of his way for the guests. I've done a lot of yours and by far he was the best.
