Itinerary
- Day 1
Cluj-Napoca to Sighisoara
Your guide picks you up at Hotel Transilvania in Cluj-Napoca at 10:00 AM and takes you to Sighisoara Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that Saxons founded back in the 12th century. You'll have time to either head to the Salt Mines of Turda or grab lunch at Casa Vlad Dracul Restaurant. By evening at 7:00 PM, the Great Dracula Ball kicks off with traditional Romanian dinner, local wine, and entertainment including the Ritual of Killing of the Living Dead and Vampire Hunting, so you're in for a late night until 2:00 AM. After all that, you'll stay overnight at a 3-star hotel right in the medieval citadel.

Brasov to Bran
After heading to Brasov, you'll check out one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities and see the Black Church, which is the largest Gothic structure in South Eastern Europe. From there, you're off to Bran Castle from 1377, the place tied to the Dracula legend. Queen Maria of Romania turned it into a summer residence, so it's got some history behind it. Before the evening festivities, try some of the village's homemade traditional cheese, particularly the kinds smoked in pine tree bark. At 7:30 PM, the Halloween Party begins with a night tour of Bran Castle decked out for Halloween, encounters with wicked fairies, local red wine, and dancing in the courtyard until 4:00 AM.

Bran to Cluj-Napoca
You'll drive to Turda, a small town with a medieval feel, and have dinner at Hunter Prince, a Dracula-themed restaurant. After that, it's time to transfer back to Cluj-Napoca for your return flight. The tour finishes around 8:00 PM with airport or hotel drop-off included, so you're all set for heading home.
