- Day 1
Arrival at Easter Island
You'll get a flower necklace when arriving at Easter Island Airport, then head to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the afternoon is open, so you can walk around Hanga Roa downtown and grab lunch if you're hungry. If the flight didn't tire you out too much, consider heading to Tahai along the coast for sunset. It's about a 25-minute walk from your hotel and gives you a chance to see the famous Moai statues against the ocean before dark.

Southeastern and Northeastern Coast Tour
Leaving at 9:30 am, you'll spend the full day touring Easter Island's southeastern and northeastern coasts. The itinerary hits multiple archaeological sites: Ahu Vaihu with 8 Moai, Ahu Akahanga (the 'Platform of the King') with 4 platforms and 12 Moai, and Ahu Tongariki, which is the island's largest ahu with 15 Moai. You'll also see Ahu Te Pito Kura and its tallest statue at 10 meters high, explore Rano Raraku volcano where the Moai were carved, and finish at Anakena Beach with its white sand before returning to Hanga Roa.

Morning and Afternoon Archaeological Tours
This day splits into two guided tours. From 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, you'll visit Orongo, Rano Kau, and Vinapu to learn about 'The Legend of the Bird Man,' including the impressive Rano Kau crater and ahu platforms with exceptional rock carvings. After breaking for lunch and rest in the afternoon, the second tour runs 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, visiting Ahu Akivi with its 7 Moai, Ana Te Pahu lava tube cave, and Puna Pau pukao quarry with panoramic village views.
