Customer Reviews
- Douglas· July 19th, 2019Overall, the trip, guide, and hotels were excellent. This was at the top of my must-do list, and I was not disappointed. I was fearful of being shepherded like sheep but there was a wonderful mixture of structured and free time. There was some initial confusion whether transfers were included or not and some miscommunication between Tourradar and CostSaver regarding flight info, but Tourradar stepped up and resolved any issues. Our guide in Peru (Rudy Chalco) was knowledgeable, professional and yet personal, and humorous. I could not imagine the trip without him, and he has launched a great program of providing refillable water throughout the trip for only $4 pp which resolves having to constantly buy water and it helps the environment as well.Show more
- KONSTANTINOS· November 18th, 2023Everything was very well organized and according to the tour planning. Moreover, our tour guide, Gionia, was excellent, very knowledgeable and attentive! Thank you and look forward for our next tours with tourradar!Show more
- Steve· April 9th, 2023Costa Rica tour saver was really good! Make sure you get the transfer from airport San Jose, as I didn't get it and had to pay a stupid taxi fare to get to hotel. Otherwise hotels were all good, itinerary was good and varied, lots of animals to see. I did the beach extension and relaxed. Food was all great too. I'd recommend.Show more

Barbara
Asked on January 21st, 2025Is there a map of routes? What transport from 1 destination to another?
- CostsaverOperator•Written January 2025
The main mode of transportation during the tour is via motorcoach, but it also includes internal flights and a train for certain segments of the trip.

Asked on December 26th, 2024Are the internal flights from Lima to Cusco and return included? Can we get a room with 2 queen beds to accommodate our family of 4 for reduced cost?
- CostsaverOperator•Written December 2024
Yes, for our Peru Explorer tour, the internal flights from Lima to Cusco are included in the tour package. The tour will end in Cusco, the return to Lima is not included. We can provide a room with two twin beds for four people to share. If you prefer a room with two queen beds, we can certainly make that request, but please note it is not guaranteed and will depend on availability at the hotel.

Scott
Asked on December 10th, 2024Are transfers to and from the airport included? How much extra is it if I wanted a private room on this trip rather than room sharing?
- CostsaverOperator•Written December 2024
Transfers are not offered through Costsaver. However, we recommend booking through our trusted partner prior to departure. If you will be staying in a single room, a single supplement will be included as well.

Traveler•Written December 2024When are hotels confirmed so that i can book airport transfers? Confirmation that all internal transfers included on this trip include hold luggage allowance? I need international flights landing in lima on 14th mar and flying out of Cusco on 20th mar?
- CostsaverOperator•Written December 2024
Hotels are usually confirmed about three months before the start of the trip. Internal transfers included in the trip come with Luggage requirements on internal flights - 50lbs (23kg). Guests should arrive on the 14th and depart on the 20th.

Asked on January 30th, 2024Do yall offer custom tours? We want to add a hot air balloon ride, beach, dolphin adventure
- CostsaverOperator•Written January 2024
Regrettably, we don't offer customer tours the available experience we have is listed in our itinerary on our website. You can ask your travel director while on the trip if you don't want to avail of an optional experience you can use it as your free time to check your requested experience.
- CostsaverOperator•Written January 2024
Costsaver does not offer Hot Air Balloon rides as the operators do not carry insurance to a level acceptable to Costsaver, nor can we vouch for their safety records. For this reason, we cannot recommend that our guests take a Hot Air Balloon ride, nor can our Travel Directors facilitate it or recommend specific operators. It will be entirely at their own risk if you choose to do so.

Asked on August 1st, 2022What time is the meeting with the group on day 1 and also what time does the tour finish on last day. I just need to make sure I can plan on my next itinerary trip.
- CostsaverOperator•Written August 2022
The trip commences on the first afternoon between 3 and 5.00 pm in the hotel lobby where you'll meet your Travel Director. On the last day of your trip it will conclude just after breakfast as there's no sightseeing that day. Please make sure you have checked any vaccination requirements for this region.
