Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
Your representative meets you after you clear baggage claim at Cairo International Airport and takes you by private transfer to your luxury hotel. Check-in happens smoothly, and the rest of the day is open for you to rest and adjust after your flight.

Cairo
An Egyptologist guide meets you to explore the Giza Plateau, where you'll see the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure along with the Great Sphinx. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. After that, you head to the Grand Egyptian Museum to see its collections, then walk through the busy Khan El Khalili bazaar before returning to your hotel.

Cairo
Your Egyptologist guide takes you to Dahshur's royal burial sites, including the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. Next, you walk around Saqqara's Step Pyramid (the first monumental stone structure) and check out ancient Memphis. Lunch is provided at a local restaurant. Later that evening, you transfer to a floating restaurant on the Nile for dinner with an open buffet and a folklore show.

Cairo to Aswan
After breakfast at your hotel, you head to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon landing, you board your 5-star Nile cruise and check in. Lunch is included on the ship. In the afternoon, you visit the Temple of Philae (dedicated to Isis), the Aswan High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk. A Nubian Village visit is available if interested. Dinner and overnight are on the cruise.

Aswan to Kom Ombo
You have breakfast on board, or you can join an optional early morning tour to Abu Simbel Temple by air-conditioned vehicle with your Egyptologist guide (weather dependent). After breakfast, the ship sails north. Lunch is on board. You visit Kom Ombo Temple, which features a rare double design honoring both Horus and Sobek. Dinner and overnight stay on the cruise.

Kom Ombo to Luxor
Breakfast is served as you sail toward Edfu to see the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved and second-largest temples. The ship continues to Luxor with lunch on board. Once there, you explore the East Bank including the massive Karnak Temple Complex with its forest of columns and obelisks, then view Luxor Temple as it's lit at dusk. The Karnak Temple Sound and Light Show happens later that evening.

Luxor
Very early, an optional hot air balloon ride over Luxor's West Bank offers views of temples and the Nile (weather dependent). After breakfast on board, you disembark for a guided morning tour of the Valley of the Kings with entries into three decorated pharaonic tombs, the tiered Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch is at a local restaurant before your domestic flight back to Cairo. Your evening is free.

Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, you drive to the Al Fayoum Oasis about 1.5 to 2 hours away. You do a 4x4 desert safari across sand dunes, then visit Wadi El Rayan's protected area with its waterfalls and the Magic Lake with its shifting colors. The Valley of the Whales (UNESCO site) shows fossil remains of ancient whales. Lunch is included at a local restaurant in Fayoum before you return to Cairo late afternoon.

Cairo to Alexandria
Breakfast at your hotel, then you drive to Alexandria (about 3 hours). Your guide takes you through the 15th-century Citadel of Qaitbay, built where the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood, one of the Seven Wonders. You descend into the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a Roman burial site mixing Egyptian and Greco-Roman styles. The modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a photo stop or quick visit. You stroll along the Corniche for Mediterranean views, then have fresh seafood lunch overlooking the sea before returning to Cairo.
