Whitehorse
Your guide will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your downtown hotel in Whitehorse. Once you arrive, spend the afternoon getting oriented to the area, checking over your gear, and picking up any last-minute supplies you might need before heading out on the river.

Teslin River
A shuttle van picks you up from your hotel in the morning for the drive south along the Alaska Highway, which takes about an hour and a half to reach Johnson's Crossing. You'll put in on the river here, and your guide will teach you basic paddling techniques before you head out for a short, gentle first paddle to a riverside campsite.

Landmarks/POIs Johnson's Crossing Teslin River - Days 3 - 9
Teslin River to Yukon River
Over the next week, you'll paddle more than 350km down the Teslin and Yukon Rivers through quiet wilderness. The water includes gentle current with some faster sections and riffles, all less than Class II difficulty. Each night you'll camp on gravel bars and wilderness sites, with time to swim, fish, explore for wild berries, watch sunsets, and sit by campfires with camp-cooked meals. Along the way, you'll pass historic relics like old paddle-wheelers, trapper's cabins, mines, and trading posts.

The tour ends at the village of Carmacks, where a shuttle van picks you up for the two-hour drive back to Whitehorse. When you arrive, you can enjoy a warm shower, sleep in a comfortable hotel room, and spend the evening exploring the town.
