- Day 1
Chiang Mai to Pai
Your hotel pickup in Chiang Mai starts things off, then you'll head north toward Pai with a stop at Mae Malai market where you can sample local foods and try exotic fruits. After that, you'll see Pong Deuid hot springs tucked in a scenic wooded valley. The historic Pai Memorial Bridge from World War II comes next before lunch at a local restaurant. Once you arrive in Pai, a charming hillside community with various ethnic groups and cultural traditions, the afternoon and evening are yours to figure out. If the weather cooperates, you might catch the sunset at Pai Canyon viewpoint (Kong Lan). Later, explore Pai walking street market and arrange your own dinner.

- Day 2
Pai to Mae Hong Son
After breakfast, you'll visit the local market then drive to Mae Hong Son with several stops along the way. Ban Jabo village is where you'll see the Black Lahu community in traditional costumes with wooden instruments. Then comes Ban Tham Lod where you'll explore the cave system by bamboo raft, cruising 1,600 meters through three caves (Sao Hin, Tukta, and IP Man) with calcite formations and prehistoric coffins. Lunch happens en route, and by afternoon you'll reach Mae Hong Son for visits to three temples near Jong Kham Lake: Wat Chong Kham (the oldest, built 1827), Wat Chong Klang (built 1860s), and Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu (the main landmark overlooking the city). You'll stay overnight in Mae Hong Son.

- Day 3
Mae Hong Son
The morning starts with a boat journey along the Pai River where you'll see the simple lifestyle of riverside communities. Next, you'll visit the Long-Necked Karen village to see women wearing traditional brass neck rings. Lunch at a local restaurant comes after that, then you'll head to Su Tong Pae Bridge, Thailand's longest bamboo bridge. Later you'll reach Baan Rak Thai Village on the Thai-Myanmar border with a large lake nearby, and finish with Baan Ruam Thai (also called Pang Oung), a peaceful Shan village in the mountains with a reservoir, pine forests, and colorful winter flowers. This mountain area earned the nickname 'Switzerland of Thailand.' You'll stay overnight in Mae Hong Son.

- Day 4
Mae Hong Son to Chiang Mai
You'll head south to Mae Chaem and Doi Inthanon National Park, home to Thailand's highest mountain at over 2,565 meters. There you'll enjoy peak views and walk along nature trails. The Royal Pagodas Napamaytanidol and Phra Mahtat Napaphon Bhumisiri come next, built to commemorate the king's and queen's 60th birthdays with beautiful surrounding flower gardens. Browse the hill tribe market to see locally-grown products like flowers and vegetables. After that, you'll visit Vachiratharn Waterfalls, one of Thailand's largest waterfalls with year-round water flow. Finally, you'll return to Chiang Mai for your hotel or airport transfer, and services conclude.
