- GlobusOperator•Written April 2024
Once you arrive and meet with the Tour Director, you will be give a detailed itinerary that will give you a breakdown and timeline for your stops. It is safe to say, when you dock, you're in port for the majority of the day. The optional excursion are not confirmed and made public for purchase 60 days prior to departure. Once you are booked on the tour, you will be able to get information on the ship. It will not be assigned until your booked.

Asked on October 18th, 2023What each accommodation means?
- GlobusOperator•Written October 2023
Globus has made a commitment to place guests in first-class hotels (F) or better, located centrally in the overnight location allowing for maximum sightseeing opportunities. When the itinerary allows for only a good night's sleep between two busy sightseeing days, we sometimes opt for residential areas. In some areas such as national parks, Newfoundland, Cuba, Mexico, Alaska, some Exotic destinations, and small European cities, first-class hotels may not be available. In those cases, Globus will use the best available hotel (BA) and note as such in the hotel list rating. We generally use superior first-class (SF) or first-class (F) hotels.

Asked on September 26th, 2023I am looking to get a price for a balcony room / I am looking for more information about the cost for balcony rooms
- GlobusOperator•Written September 2023
As of today, we have not assigned a ship to this tour. Once the ship has been assigned, we will be able to advise if a balcony room will be an option and what the cost will be.
- B
Belinda
Asked on October 13th, 2022Could he join the tour in Anchorage? How much is the single supplement if I go alone?
- GlobusOperator•Written October 2022
We would have to put in a request for your husband joining the tour late. We don't offer a discount if a guest chooses to join late. It may not even be possible due to operational reasons. Vacations can ONLY be joined or left at the hotel. The single supplement for the land portion of the tour is $1460. We also only have two single cabins open for the cruise. The single supplement on those cabins is $1140 for a category D (Outside Cabin) or $1200 for a category C (Outside Cabin).

Asked on September 27th, 2022What is a twin share room and are there accommodations with 2 Queens for 3 adults? What about on board ship? Rooms for 3 adults?
- GlobusOperator•Written September 2022
A twin room is 1 room for 2 people. The beds do depend on the individual hotels, but usually 2 queens. If you book a triple the 3rd bed could be a pull out couch or a roll in cot. For the ship a triple would potentially mean 3 single beds depending on which cabin category you choose.
- A
Ali
Asked on February 3rd, 2022Does this mean there are 2 people in the room? What bed size could we expect - twin, full, queen, king?
- GlobusOperator•Written February 2022
The booking will show one of the following options: 1 person in a room= Single, 2 people in a room =Twin, and 3 people in a room =Triple. Although we cannot guarantee the bed configuration you prefer will be available, we will request your preference. ONE BED is a double bed or larger, able to accommodate two people. In some hotels this may be two beds joined together with bedding to cover both beds, though it may be two separate duvets. TWO BEDS are two separate beds. This is the standard contracted room. Requests for room or bedding preferences should also be made with the Tour Director at check-in; these preferences are not guaranteed and are dependent on hotel availability at the time of arrival.

Gail
