- ADonniePeedin· April 20th, 2022We really enjoyed the trip to Mexico. My wife and I were delighted to see Mexico City, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, and San Miguel de Allende. The hotels were quality places. Rooms were clean and neat. We took a nice boat ride in Patzcuaro. We saw beautiful old Catholic churches. The people in Mexico were nice. Of course, it helped that I spoke Spanish fluently. Our tour guide, Maria, did a good job, was nice, helpful, and relaxed. Enjoyed the food. We hope to visit some more places around the world. In the next 10-15 years. I wish we had had a little more time at a few places that we visited. Overall, pleased and would do a trip again with Europamundo.Show moreEuropamundo commented on this reviewHi. Thanks for the great review, we are so happy you enjoyed your adventure with us. - SRSally-anne· February 19th, 2024The places we visited were great and I enjoyed the tour. Euromundo though I would not recommend. Communication prior to the tour wasn’t great, didn’t always respond to questions. Worse they say an arrival transfer but we decided to arrive the day before the tour, they wanted to charge us nearly double for the hotel room the tour started in so much cheaper to get a taxi. Our guide Mario did the bear minimum, didn’t learn our names and gave us very little information about Mexico generally although he was knowledgeable about the places we visited. He did try and miss out several things on the itinerary and only when challenged did he relent. Quick to drop us back early at the hotels and be rid of us! Except in Mexico City the hotels were too far from downtown areas which is really disappointing as you want to experience Mexico not a hotel room, several hotels were disgusting especially in Guadajuanto. We only managed to get breakfast 3/7 days as hotels couldn’t cope with capacity. They need to charge more and improve the hotels or offer 2 options for hotels and charge more for ones in a better location which would significantly improve the tour.Show moreEuropamundo commented on this reviewDear Sally, Thank you for sharing your insights about the tour with us. - Chris· January 23rd, 2024This tour and itinerary is well planned, and it was an amazing experience as a first timer visiting Mexico. My tour guide was Freddo, and he is really professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Hotel Selection 8/10 - some hotels are far away from tourist attractions/city centre, and it is a bit of journey to visit/re-visit the places you are interested. Tour Guide/bus driver 10/10 - They are professional, and I had a wonderful journey travelling with them, especially when you need to sit on the bus for hours every day. We had 15 ppl in the group, majority of the group are Spanish speakers and only two of us are English speakers. Freddo was so knowledgeable, trying to explain everything in English when showing us around.Show moreEuropamundo commented on this reviewThank you for sharing feedback about your time away with Europamundo on the Colonial Mexico. - BBBarbara· December 18th, 2023Our tour guide, Mario Soto, was terrific. He had to wrangle just a few English speakers among mostly Spanish speakers, and he did a great job at making sure we knew where to be and when. He is quite a font of knowledge about Mexico history and even knows a lot about where I live in the former Mexico area of Arizona. He was very helpful to those who had problems -- one woman forgot her passport at the previous hotel, and two people became very sick from the food at the group meal. The 3-star hotels each had their strong points but none were what I would call great. For example, the Holiday Inn Express was nicely updated except for the bathroom, which really showed the age of the hotel. The Mexico City Hotel Diana (I think) was nice at first glance, but so close to the main square that we didn't sleep much with extremely loud music until 1 am one night and 11:30 the next. I would not recommend any of the hotels. In terms of scheduling, I learned a lot about my own travel style. I would not again tour where almost every night is a new city and hotel. Of course, there was a lot of bus travel time, too. Driver Jaimie was good and very skilled at negotiating truly crazy traffic and narrow streets. The one group meal at a nightclub with mariachi music and folk dancing was the worst food I had on the trip. Also, it was not what they told us it would be, surprising us with chicken stuffed with ham, runny/gooey mashed potatoes and a dry cake -- almost no one ate it and so much food was wasted. The entertainers were OK, but overall, this was probably the "lowlight" of the trip. I was a little concerned about using an aggregator company like TourRadar but that turned out just fine. We had no issues with booking with EuropaMundo through TourRadar.Show moreEuropamundo commented on this reviewHI, Barbara. Asked on June 5th, 2025I need to pay for 3 travelers under one card + 1 passenger on another card, how do I go about it? Also need to confirm you accept Discover credit card for payment
- EuropamundoOperator•Written June 2025
Our platform currently accepts payments via Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, Google Pay or PayPal. Since the departure date for your tour is within 60 days, we will require full payment at the time of booking. If you're booking for four travellers and face an issue with a single transaction, we recommend booking three travellers together and processing another booking for the fourth traveller using a different card.

Traveler•Written May 2025How many people are going in this Mexico colonial tour?
- EuropamundoOperator•Written May 2025
Usually, there are fewer passengers, although it will depend largely on the tours. The number can vary depending on the days or the specific sector of the tour. The maximum bus size is only around 45 - 65 travelers. You would be on one bus.

Asked on January 26th, 2025I'm interested in a private tour for 2. We are interested in beginning in Puerto Vallarta and traveling on to the following destinations: Lake Chapala, Guadalajara, Ajijic, and Morelia. We would plan for a 7-10 day trip and prefer 4 star accommodations.
