Providence
You'll arrive in Providence, Rhode Island's capital, and start settling into the local vibe. This coastal city has a friendly feel to it, and you'll get a sense of what makes it special as the tour kicks off here.
- Day 2
Providence
The day starts with a panoramic tour of the city, taking in Brown University's campus and Waterplace Park. After that, you can either walk through Providence's art and architecture neighborhoods or spend time at the RISD Museum checking out their collection of over 2,000 art and design pieces. Your evening wraps up with a welcome dinner where you'll celebrate with the group.

Newport
You're heading to Newport, known as the Sailing Capital of the World. You'll cruise along Bellevue Avenue past grand 19th-century mansions, then tour The Breakers, a 70-room summer home that belonged to the Vanderbilt family and now sits as a National Historic Landmark. It's one of the most lavish mansions in Newport.

Plymouth to Cape Cod
Travel to Plymouth to see where America's first permanent colonial settlement was established. A boat tour gets you out on Plymouth Harbor, and the captain will show how lobsters are pulled from the water. You'll also see Plymouth Rock, where the Pilgrims landed from the Mayflower in 1620. From there, you'll head to your beachfront hotel for a 4-night stay on Cape Cod.

Nantucket Island
Start the day at the Kennedy Memorial in Hyannis Port, then catch a ferry to Nantucket Island. Once there, you can walk around the cobblestone Main Street, check out the beaches and lighthouses, and browse local shops for Nantucket baskets. The Nantucket Whaling Museum gives you a look at the island's whaling heritage, including a 46-foot whale skeleton. Dinner is at a well-liked local restaurant.

Or you can join your Tour Manager for a guided trip to Sandwich to see Heritage Museums & Gardens' 100 acres and visit the Sandwich Glass Museum to watch glassblowing demonstrations. Your evening is free to do as you like.

You'll take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard, a favorite summer spot for presidents, royalty, artists, and writers. The island has quaint gingerbread cottages and a former whaling port with sea captains' homes and widows' walks. After exploring, you'll ferry back to Cape Cod for a farewell dinner with a traditional New England lobster feast.
