Itinerary
- Day 1Arrival in OsloYou'll arrive at Oslo International Airport where your driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00, so depending on your flight time, you might have a bit of a wait or head straight to your room. Once you're settled, the rest of the day is yours to explore the neighborhood around your hotel or just rest up after traveling.
- Day 2OsloGrab your hop-on hop-off bus pass and head to Stop 1 on Karl Johans gate at 10:30 for the first departure. You can choose between a 24 or 48 hour pass, and the audio guide covers multiple languages so you'll get commentary as you go. The bus passes by the Royal Palace and Parliament, and you can hop off whenever something interests you. Top spots to check out include Vigeland Sculpture Park with its hundreds of bronze and granite figures, the Viking Ship Museum if you're curious about Norse history, the Nobel Peace Center, the National Opera House, and the Oslo Cathedral. Last bus leaves at 15:45, so you've got plenty of time to move around the city. - Meals

After that, head toward the Oslo Fjord and explore Aker Brygge, which is a former shipyard turned waterfront destination with restaurants, galleries, and sculpture spaces. From there, walk through the medieval Akershus Fortress and the Kvadraturen area to see the 17th-century Domkirke Cathedral. The National Opera House and Oslo City Hall come up during the tour as well (the City Hall is where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony happens each year).
