Itinerary
- Day 1
Tenerife Arrival
Land at Tenerife's Southern airport and transfer to Los Cristianos, checking into Hotel Cuatro Esquinas in San Miguel de Abona. Your local guide will meet you to go over what's ahead for the week. If timing works out after you settle in, it's just a 10-minute drive to El Medano beach if you want to stretch your legs by the water.

Las Cañadas del Teide National Park
After breakfast, drive to Las Cañadas del Teide National Park for a gentle walk around Roque de García. You'll take the cable car up to 3,500 meters and then walk out to the Pico Viejo viewpoint. Coming back down, you'll pass through Santiago del Teide and drive through Canary Island pine forests with views across to La Palma and La Gomera.

Barranco del Infierno
Spend the day in Barranco del Infierno nature reserve, which has endemic wildlife, lots of different bird species, and varied plant life throughout. The main draw here is a waterfall that drops over 200 meters down into the ravine at the end of your walk.

Tenerife to La Gomera
Take a 50-minute ferry from Los Cristianos harbor to La Gomera. Once there, walk through San Sebastián, the town where Christopher Columbus stopped during his travels. You'll see Torre del Conde, the Asunción church, an archaeological museum, Casa del Pozo de la Aguada, and Casa Bencomo.

Garajonay National Park
Head into Garajonay National Park to see the thick vegetation with ancient laurel trees and giant ferns. After a 30-minute drive, you'll walk gently downhill through tropical forest from Alto del Contadero to El Cedro, a small village tucked away in the forest.

Northern La Gomera
Explore the quieter north side of La Gomera. Walk through Agulo, a particularly nice village in the Canaries, then head up to the Abrante viewpoint which has a glass floor jutting out over the cliff with views back to Tenerife. Stop by the Visitor Centre to learn about the National Park, then follow the trail through the park to Las Hayas before heading back.

La Gomera to La Palma
Ferry leaves La Gomera at 7 am and arrives in La Palma at 10:30 after crossing with views of three islands. Check into Hotel Holiday Time by the water in Santa Cruz de La Palma, then walk through the city on old cobbled streets. In the afternoon, do a 2.5-hour circular walk that passes old water mills and goes to the Church of Las Nieves.

La Caldera de Taburiente National Park
Travel to the top of La Palma at 2,426 meters. Walk along the peaks around La Caldera crater with views across the islands. You'll spend about 2 hours on the rim from Roque de Los Muchachos to Degollada de Franceses viewpoint, then take the bus to Mirador del Time viewpoint which has great views of the recent volcano from the 2021 eruption.

Southern La Palma Volcanoes
Head to the southern part of La Palma to see recent volcanoes in a sparse, volcanic landscape. Walk around San Antonio volcano crater from 1677, then follow the GR131 route down to Teneguía Volcano from 1971, continuing to the lighthouse and salt flats at Fuencaliente by the sea. The whole area has great views of neighboring islands with sunny weather and minimal vegetation.
