Helsinki
You'll arrive in Helsinki and head to your hotel to get settled in. There's a welcome meeting scheduled to give you an overview of your Finnish adventure and what to expect over the coming days.

Helsinki
This day focuses on Helsinki's cultural side. You'll see the Senate Square and its iconic Lutheran Cathedral, walk along Mannerheim Street, and check out the Parliament Building and Finlandia Hall. The Sibelius Monument is also on the list. Later you can visit the Church-in-the-Rock, and if you're interested, take a water bus out to the historic Suomenlinna Fortress in the afternoon.

Helsinki to Lappeenranta
An express train takes you to Lappeenranta, arriving around midday. After checking into your hotel, you'll explore the Old Town with its fortress, wooden buildings, artisan shops, and Orthodox church. By evening, you'll take a scenic 3-hour cruise on Lake Saimaa with the option to add dinner if you'd like.
