Our tour guide, Paul, was fantastic! His knowledge, enthusiasm, and professionalism was 5-star! It was very exciting to visit the filming sites of Outlander and to be walking in the footsteps of the actors! There were a variety of locations to visit daily from castles to churches and gardens. There were also unscheduled photo stops to capture the scenic beauty on the way to visiting various locations. My husband and I waited over 2 years to take this trip (due to Covid) and it was worth the wait! The hotels were top notch and the meals provided were good! A thoroughly exciting trip!Show more

Asked on September 4th, 2023For the bicycle tour, is there a place for travelers to rent the bikes or do we need to bring our own? Also, what is the road like? Are road bike appropriate or should they be hybrid to allow for off-roading?

You can bring your own if you prefer or you can add bike hire to the trip at an additional fee. The bikes our supplier reccommend are flat-bar touring bikes like the Trek FX2/FX3 that are suitable for the road. These bikes can also be fitted with panniers, lights, locks, tyre kits, helmets and other extras.

The cost of a ebike would be £450 to hire and the baggage transfer option works out at £350. How large would the group be as I can tailor this to suit and offer a baggage handling or support vehicle
