- AVirginia· March 17th, 2023Our guide, Long - he made the trip - animated and informed. We loved visiting Hoi An, Seam Reap, Ha Long Bay, Saigon, and the factories and little industries. Also, the history content and informed guide for the Killing Fields were great. And Da Nang beach as well as the war museum in Saigon were powerful. The food was delicious throughout. Long arranged birthday celebrations for me which were very thoughtful - drinks celebration on the train to Saigon, cake and flowers plus dinner outing in Saigon were so kind! Everyone enjoyed this. Long also found a lens cap for me in Hanoi realising I had lost mine. - ACathy· March 17th, 2023So many! First day catapulted into Hanoi city and finding myself in front of Ho Chi Minh mausoleum was thrilling! Coach journeys watching the timeless scenery of bright green rice fields and rice farmers in their conical hats. Halong Bay boat was beautiful and limestone cliffs stunning. Hoi A charming, colourful, relaxing and hotel was wonderful. Morning cycling trip on Cam Kim(?) island maybe the top highlight. Spectacular scenery from train as we approached Saigon. Mekong Delta fascinating and so atmospheric. Angkor Wat - of course! Everything I’d expected - and more. Above all our tour guide Long - we were always in safe hands and he told us so much about both countries (and took care of me when I needed to see a doctor).
