- Day 1
Entebbe
You'll land at Entebbe International Airport where your driver and guide will meet you for the transfer to your lodge. If your flight gets in early enough, there's time to head to Entebbe Botanical Garden and look for birds and primates, particularly black and white colobus and vervet monkeys hanging around the gardens.

Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you're heading north to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey includes a stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for about an hour of rhino tracking, then lunch in Masindi before continuing on. Once you arrive at the park, you'll start spotting wildlife across the rolling plains like lions, giraffes, buffalo, elephants, hippos, and Nile crocodiles before settling into your accommodation.

Murchison Falls National Park
Start early with a game drive across the plains hunting for lions, leopards, and different bird species. You'll head back by mid-morning to rest and grab lunch at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you'll take a boat trip heading to the base of Murchison Falls where hippos, crocodiles, and water birds hang out. If you're up for it after all that, there's a hike to the top of the falls for the views.

Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park
The drive to Kibale Forest National Park takes you through countryside with villages, rolling tea plantations, and green hills. The forest itself is home to chimps, black and white colobus monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys. You'll check in at your accommodation and have dinner there once you arrive.

Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast and a briefing from your ranger, you'll trek for chimpanzees in Kibale Forest with an experienced guide leading the way. You'll spend a full hour with a habituated group watching them in their natural setting. After lunch back at the lodge, you're driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning starts early with a game drive to Kasenyi plains where you can spot cape buffalo, elephants, lions, and leopards. Grab lunch, then spend 2 hours on a boat trip along Kazinga Channel. The water route is great for seeing hippos, more elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds.

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You'll drive through Ishasha sector, the part of Queen Elizabeth known for tree-climbing lions (you have a pretty good shot at seeing them, around a 70 percent chance). From there, continue on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to roughly 400 mountain gorillas. After checking in, you'll rest up to prepare for the gorilla trekking tomorrow.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast and ranger briefing, you'll head into the rainforest to trek mountain gorillas through dense vegetation. You'll spend a full hour with a habituated gorilla family observing them in their habitat. After lunch back at the lodge, you have the option to rest or join a community cultural encounter if you have the energy.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi
You'll drive to Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by lush terraced hills sloping down to the water. The lake has 29 islands scattered around in different sizes and shapes. You'll get on a canoe to explore the major islands, learn about their history, and experience traditional dugout canoe travel before heading back to the lodge.

Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe
After a relaxed breakfast where you can take in views of Lake Bunyonyi's islands, you're heading back to Entebbe Airport. On the way, you'll stop at the Uganda Equator line in Kayabwe for photos and to pick up souvenirs. You'll have lunch somewhere along the route and arrive at the airport in the late afternoon or early evening for your departure.
